•Projects can be registered as early as January 2011 by all district teachers, staff, and coordinators

March Gladness 2011 needs:

students, schools, citizens, businesses, and community members

to

“Serve Around the Clock”by designing and implementing

community service projects

Adults should get involved with March Gladness to:•Develop positive relationships with the youth-community that directly benefit our society•Teach about world concerns outside of the classroom•Lead by example to promote lifelong community service•Involve resources in the character development of our youth

Youth should get involved in a

March Gladness service project:• Become aware of the needs and problems in the community• Understand others’ points of view in the community and expand world vision.• Develop communication skills that promote successful completion

of tasks• Learn to make sacrifices to help

others and the environment
