How RH could improve efforts

Turn off water when not being used to save water.Turn off unused appliances, to save energyBig Trucks provide bad emissions in the air. Wasting energy by leaving it on all day.

Riding horse instead of carRiding the school bus to save energy.Using a mug that can be washed and reusedHanging up wet clothesThrowing away ONLY trash, having a different bin for trash & recyclables. Cutting off the TV when leaving the room

Things we need to improve to go green

High Schools Going Green Magna Vista High School in Henry CountyHas won awards for going green. Has reduced energy usage in the past 4 years. Incorporated gardens into activities and lessons.Buy most of the food from local farms. works as a cover for wildlife. They work with with the Dan River Basin Association to raise and release native trout.Conserve paper by using more iPads & laptopsHas saved $250,000 due to energy conservation
