Designed and tested for foodand beverage applications

ifm ecolink cordsets are subjectedto a variety of tests that ensurereliable performance in theapplication. Tests include IP69K,pressure cleaning, thermal shock,and shock and vibration.

Cordsets for washdownenvironments are manu-factured with high gradestainless steel couplingnuts, gold-plated contactsand an O-ring that iscompressed to perma-nently maintain its sealingfunction. These cordsetsoperate in a broad rangeof temperatures rangingfrom -25 to 100°C.

The connectors' O-ring ismanufactured withEPDM, a chemically cross-linked elastomer thatoffers excellent flexibilityin fluctuating tempera-tures. EPDM providesideal insulation resistanceand strength and offersprotection in causticcleaning environments.
