    In this lesson youll learn the second core activity of the Game Plan: the Sharing CycleFind, Invite,Share, and Sponsor.

    ROLE

    You may have already noticed that Team Beachbody isnt your average direct sales or network

    marketing company. This is a true community, a family of people who are passionate abouttransforming their own lives and helping others achieve their goals and enjoy a healthy, fulfilling life.

    That said, you wont find run-of-the-mill marketing and sales training from Team Beachbody.Instead youll find proven, effective, genuine strategies in something we call the Sharing Cycle.

    To follow the activities covered in this training, youll want to download theGet Started Right Workbook and the Memory Jogger, which are availableunder this lessons Reference Material section as well as in the CoachOnline Office under the Getting Started menu. The workbook can be printed

    LESSON

    SHARING CYCLE

    So, what do Team Beachbody Coaches do? In addition to making sure theyre improving their ownhealth and fitness, they share Beachbody products and programs with others, and they earncommissions and bonuses when others decide to improve their lives as well.

    We prefer the term sharing to selling, because thats the approach we want Coaches to take. Too

    many people equate selling with forcing, but sharing allows the listeners to make up their ownminds. And Coaches are simply there to let people know they have a healthy, proven alternative togetting fit, losing weight, and creating financial freedom for themselves.

    Since your business will grow faster the more you share, the Game Plan standard encouragesCoaches to share Beachbody with at least two people every day.

    But before you jump right in, lets look at how to share effectively. Weve broken down the process ofsharing into four steps we call the Sharing Cycle. These succinct steps will make building your Teamand retailing products easier than any other method youve ever read about in sales and marketing.

    These core activities include:

    Find

    The first step in the Sharing Cycle is to Find. Finding is all about identifying people with whom toshare Beachbodys products and the coaching opportunity.

    We call it building your contact list. The contact list is located in your Get Started Right Workbookand as an interactive PDF located in this lessons Reference Material section. Your contact list iswhere youll write down the names and contact information of people you know. Your first actionstep is to build the most robust contact list on your first day and to take time daily to continue to addpeople to that list.

    With the help of something we call the Memory Jogger, youll realize you know more people thanyou think! Take the Memory Jogger you just downloaded from this lessons Reference Material

    section and fill in your contact list. Youll find that the Memory Joggeralong with online tools likeLinkedIn, Plaxo, and Facebookcan be used often, even weekly, to continue to add to your contactlist. Names you remember during one brainstorming session are often different from names youllremember the next time you sit down to work on your contact list.

    Many of our Coaches are doing most of their finding online. So weve created a simple guidedescribing how to use social media to find people, as well as important dos and donts for usingsocial media effectively. This short video is available in this lessons Reference Material section, ifyoure interested in learning more.

    Beachbodys TV advertising makes adding people to your list easy as you go about your dailyactivities. We update our Coaches regularly on which products are receiving the most mediaattention. Recently, P90X, TurboFire, and INSANITY have been three of the most highly-promoted products on television. So, your next step is to purchase P90X, TurboFire, and INSANITYapparel (available in the Team Beachbody Mall, under Sales & Marketing in theCoach Online Office), and then wear it whenever you can. Youll be surprised howoften others will ask you about them since they may have just seen the productadvertised on TV. We call this Wear and Share, and many of our Coaches makeseveral retail sales and great new contacts just by answering questions from thosewho start the conversation for you when they see the logo on your shirt or gear.

    Here are a few other tips to help you as you build your contact list:

    When collecting information, dont hand out business cards. When you meet new people, askthem for their contact information instead of just giving them yours. If you just give them yourinformation, you never know if theyll actually contact you. By getting their information you havecontrol over the next step, which is contacting them to discuss their needs in more detail andintroducing them to what you do with Team Beachbody.

    Ask for referrals. Another very effective way of discovering people who may be interested in

    Beachbody is by asking those you come into contact with for referrals. Even if someone saystheyre not interested in learning more, they may know someone who would benefit from whatyou have to offer. By just asking for referrals you have the opportunity to greatly expand yourcontact list, and the bigger your list is, the bigger your business can become. And when someoneyou know says they dont know anyone they can refer to you, feel free to use the Memory Joggerto help them get ideas. It may sound like a lot to ask someone, but this is the only way we End theTrend of obesityby taking the time to find out who wants the help!

    Understand the WHY. You can add people to your contact list by identifying someones desirefor changetheir Why. Once you know their Why you can determine the motivation that wouldinspire him or her to try the products and join your business. Remember, most people are drawnto join Team Beachbody because:

    They want an additional reason to motivate themselves to get fit or lose weightand we have a great one: earning an extra income!

    They want to help others They want others to share in the success theyve realized Theyve seen the consequences of obesity, and want to help End the Trend They want to earn extra income without having to take an extra job They want financial freedom, stability, and prosperity They want their own business

    They want more freedom with their time Theyre looking for a personal development opportunity They want to meet new people They want to retire from their current careers They want to leave a legacy

    Caution: Team Beachbody is not for people who simply want to make a fast buck. Fast moneyfolks wont have what it takes to succeed as Team Beachbody Coaches. Now, were not saying youcant earn substantial income quickly if youre willing to work hardthe opportunity is definitely

    there and many already have. Were saying that the decision to be a Coach needs to be rooted inthe desire to help people get healthy and achieve their goals. When theres that mind-set, andwhen those are the kind of people you find, theres no limit to what your Team can achieve!

    Prioritize your list. Once youve filled out your contact list for the first time, youll want to identifythe people on your list whove expressed a need for change in their life in the last 30 days. Lookfor people who have a Why that fits with Team Beachbodys. For example, they may haveshared with you that perhaps:

    They dont like their jobs They want to lose a few pounds They want to get in shape They wish their spouses didnt have to work They never have enough money to pay their bills They want more time to spend with their families They are irregular or have digestive issues They miss the sense of general well-being they had when they were younger They appreciate the effort youre putting into your own health and fitness

    The people you identify on this list are those you should reach out to first, because theyre thepeople who will be most open to the opportunity. Theyll be open to learning with you. This is yourhot market of prospects.

    Challenge yourself to build your contact list with 50 to 100 names on it at first. Remember, thebigger your list, the more opportunity you have for growth. Your goal is to be continuously addingpeople to your contact list, so make sure to always have it with you. Yesalways.

    Invite

    The next core activity in the Sharing Cycle is to Invite. Now, having a contact list isone thing, but nothing happens until you invite someone to learn more about TeamBeachbody. Coaches help people achieve their goals by inviting them to watch or listento a Beachbody Sharing Tool or attend a Beachbody event such as a Fit Club workoutor Beachbody Shake & Share event.

    There are several ways you can invite someone to learn more. You can ask someone to watch,listen, or attend an event using Facebook, Evite, eCards, text messaging, email, person-to-person,

    or simply by phone. Here are a few examples:

    Invite people to attend a Fit Club workout with you. Fit Club workouts are filled with energy andfunan ideal setting for your prospects to try out Team Beachbody workouts for themselves. Youcan find Fit Club workout listings using the Fit Club Finder under TeamBeachbody.com or in theEvents section of the Coach Online Office.

    Invite people to try Shakeology. Whether you hand them a sample, show them the ShakeologyBreakthrough DVD, or have them listen to the 1 Thing I Tell All My Patients CD in their car, inviteyour prospects to try the Healthiest Meal of the Day. They should be intrigued when they findout that they could even try it for an entire month and if theyre not satisfied, they can get their

    money back! We call that the bottom of the bag guarantee.

    Invite people to attend your Beachbody Shake & Share event. Use Evite and Facebook to inviteyour friends and family members to something we call a Beachbody Shake & Share event. Atthis in-home presentation, youll be able to share your passion for Team Beachbody, involveyour friends and family in celebrating the launch of your new Beachbody business, and ask fortheir help with referrals. Again, this is an opportunity for your hot market prospects to learnabout the business from youwith the help of your upline Sponsor, who can be there in personor even on the phone.

    Invite people to listen to a Webinar with you. When it comes to sharing more aboutTeam Beachbody, Webinars are a great way to let the experts do the talking. Look for acurrent list of upcoming Webinars in the Events section of the Coach Online Office under theWebinars tab.

    Invite people to watch Beachbody sharing tool videos online. Whether youwant to share more about Shakeology, Beachbody fitness programs, orthe entire scope of the Team Beachbody business, send your prospects anemail link using the email tool available in the Coach Online Office underthe Video Library tab in the top navigation bar.

    Invite people to visit your personal Team Beachbody or Shakeology Web site. With a click of themouse your prospects can have access to a wealth of information about your Team Beachbodybusiness. Send them a link to your personal Team Beachbody Web site. Point out somethingspecific for them to see on your Web site, and then ask them to tell you what they think about it.

    Invite prospects to listen to the Team Beachbody Sizzle Call. Heat things up for your prospectsby having them join in the Sizzle Call at 1 (310) 295-1899. This call has an invitation from our CEOCarl Daikeler describing Beachbody, our mission, and our products.

    With so many avenues to invite prospects, find the option that works best for youand for your individualprospects. Youll be able to maximize the number of responses and amount of interest youll receive!

    One last reminder about the Invite step: Dont be surprised if you have to follow up several times tomake sure the invitation is received and accepted. Keep track of your invitations to help you knowwhen and how to follow up with each prospect.

    Share

    The next core activity of the Game Plan is to Share. All invitations lead to actuallysharing the information, the third activity in the Sharing Cycle. Sharing is all aboutpresenting the product line and the opportunity using the method that is the mostappropriate for the prospect youre working with. You could utilize Beachbody Sharing Tools, shareperson-to-person, use Webinars, use conference calls, or even use Beachbody events. Regardless ofthe method you use to share, your goal is to share with at least two people a day.

    Rely on your upline. We recommend that you rely on your upline Coach to help you during yourfirst few sharing experiences. Allow them to help you host in-home events or participate with youon 3-way calls to help answer questions your prospects might have. In the beginning phase ofyour Coach business, your primary job is to Find and Invite, and then enlist the help of your uplinefor sharing.

    Beachbody Sharing Tools. Tools like the Beachbody Solution DVD, Introducing Team BeachbodyDVD, Shakeology Breakthrough DVD, and the 1 Thing I Tell All My Patients CD are great waysto share the amazing benefits of Beachbody with your prospectswithout you having to do anyselling. Plus, most of these tools are available online and can be shared using an email with a linkto the video or audio.

    Webinars and conference calls: Webinars and conference calls are great ways to introducepeople to Beachbody. Simply check with your Sponsor for his or her upcoming Webinars andconference calls, or visit your Coach Online Office.

    Beachbody events: If you want to get a prospect right into the action, get them involved in yourBeachbody Shake & Share event, Fit Club workouts, or Coach Opportunity Meetings. (You can findevents near you by looking on the Coach Online Office or checking again with the Fit Club Finder.)

    Beachbody Shake & Share events take place in the home as a new Coachs grand opening event,introducing friends and family to Team Beachbody and encouraging support and referrals. As anew Coach your next step is to schedule your Beachbody Shake & Share grand opening withinyour first two weeks.

    Download the How to Hold a Beachbody Shake & Share Event traininglocated in this lessons Reference Material section. Youll learn how to invitepeople to, prepare for, hold, and follow up after your Beachbody Shake &Share event. Your upline Coach will join you for your first event to help youshare Beachbody with your family and friends.

    Fit Club workouts give prospects an opportunity to try before they buy. At Fit Clubs they canactually work out to one of Beachbodys fitness programs and sample Shakeology.

    Coach Opportunity Meetings are focused meetings for those interested in learning more aboutbecoming a Team Beachbody Coach. In general, these meetings are held regularly to explain the

    coaching opportunity.

    Whatever sharing method you use, make sure to work with your upline and view Beachbody-produced training materials to get complete training on how to use Beachbody Sharing Tools,Webinars, and events to share the opportunity. Training is especially important when youre ready tohold your Beachbody Shake & Share event or start your own Fit Club. Without proper training youwont experience maximum results, and you wont be able to build your business to its true potential.

    Sponsor

    This leads us to the final activity of the Sharing Cycle: Sponsor. Sponsoring is really

    the decision point in the Sharing Cycle. Sponsoring is more than just signing peopleup or getting them started with a fitness program or simply buying Shakeology.A good Sponsor helps a new customer start with a complete solutionone that willgive them the very best opportunity to reach their goals.

    As a Coach, your role is to ask questions and determine what goals your prospects hope toachieve, then to guide them to the best fitness and nutrition products to achieve that goal. Nowthats great coaching. From your conversation, youll learn not only what they want, but alsowhy they want it. You want to gather enough information to complete a quality enrollment as acustomer or Coach.

    A quality enrollment is getting your prospect set up from the beginning on: 1. a fitness programthat is best for them, 2. Shakeology on Home Direct, and 3. getting enrolled in the TeamBeachbody Club.

    Although sponsoring new Coaches is an important goal to build your Team,becoming a Coach may not be for everyone at first. Youll see greatsuccess as a Team Beachbody Coach by retailing products. Its a greatway to earn immediate income, and it introduces your prospects toTeam Beachbody in the right way.

    When you sell products to prospects, let them know youre there to support them and to helpthem find answers to any of their questions, then make sure to follow up with them regularly.Its important to commit to partnering with your customers and Coaches for the duration of theirfitness journey, to help them be accountable to their goals. We cant stress the power of thataccountability enoughits one of the main influencers we have to change behavior, and its quiteliterally how your activities as a Team Beachbody Coach will help End the Trend of obesity in thiscountry. How exciting is that?

    But when youve signed a new Coach, just as you take the time to ask questions to learn what yourprospects goals are, youll do the same for a new Coach, helping them get started right. Walkthem through the sign-up process on your personal Web site. Answer their questions, completetheir sign-up, guide them to the Coach Training Academy, and schedule their Get Started RightInterview within 48 hours.

    Remember the core purpose of Beachbody, to help people achieve their goals and enjoy ahealthy, fulfilling life. When you focus on this single vision and commit to your customers andCoaches, your business will grow and youll reach your goals.

    Follow-Up

    Youll notice that every single step in the Sharing Cycle requires follow-up.

    Were all busy, and often your best customers and your new Coaches will be some of the busiestpeople you know. Too often, Coaches assume that one contact, one message, or one invitationis all thats needed to get the ball rolling. And when they dont get a response, these Coachesassume theyre being told no. Dont ever fall into the trap of making the decision for someone elseby default. Be persistent and continue to follow up until you have a clear yes or a clear no.

    And no matter if the final response is a no, your job is to remember how important your work is,remember how important your Why is, and remain positive. Everyones journey toward better

    health and fitness often has its starts and stops. Be a consistent supporter to your prospects,regardless of the outcome, and it will lead to better relationshipsand better businessdown theroad.

    WRAP-UP

    Remember, success will only come if youre engaged in Sharing Cycle activities every day. Makesure to focus on the basic standard of sharing with two new people each day, and over time youllsee your business grow into a Team of successful Coaches who will follow your lead.

    Keep in mind this is a business of duplication, which means the activities you do to build yourbusiness are the same activities you want your Coaches to follow. Coaches on your Team will dowhat you doboth good and not so goodso starting out right and setting a good example is reallykey to a solid business.
