Adrian FrutigerGeboren am 24. Mai 1928 in Unterseen bei Interlaken in der

Schweiz, gestorben am 10. September 2015 in Bremgarten.

Schriftsetzerlehre von 1944 bis 1948. Ausbildung an der

Kunstgewerbeschule Zürich. Graphiker, Illustrator, Holz-

schneider. Ab 1952 ist er Mitarbeiter bei der Schriftgie•erei

Deberny & Peignot in Paris. Grùndet 1962 ein eigenes graphi-

sches Atelier in Arcueil bei Paris. Nebenberufliche Lehr-

tâtigkeit an der Ecole Estienne (1952 bis 1960) und an der

Ecole des Arts Decoratifs (1954 bis 1968) in Paris. Veròffentli-

chungen ùber Schrift und Zeichen. Er lebte seit 1992 in Brem-

garten bei Bern.
