SUMMER COURSE FIRENZE

We invite you to Firenze for three weeks to live as an Italian and explore the culture of Italian design. You willlive in the city, receive instruction and soak up inspiration 24 hours a day in order to get Italy under your skin.3 TOP REASONSFASHION DESIGN AND ILLUSTRATION

•Learn the hsitory of Italian fashion and the importance of ”Made in Italy” to the global luxury goods accessories and apparel market

•Experiment with fashion figure drawing and fashion illustration, styling and expanding knowledge of techniques and presentation and drawing from a live model with an industry professional

•Learn to develop creativity relevant to the Italian industry and market requirements with guest lectures from professionals from the industry

•Learn to create industry based fashion collections relevant for today’s market, through market research, creative research gathering and design develoment.

3rd SEMESTER WORK EXPERIENCE

9 weeks all-round work experience as intern in a company of own choice.

• Insights into a designers everyday work with tasks and challenges• New skills and experiences with typical design issues• Create a network with people in the Fashion business

4th SEMESTER FINAL EXAM AP Degree

Based upon a Brand of own choice a problem scenario will be worked out and over a time period of 8 weeks an exam project will be made by the student.The whole design process from idea till finished product can be incorporated
