The Paleo Diet lives by this basic rule: if a caveman couldn’t eat it, neither can you. This means anything we could hunt or find – meats, fish, nuts, leafy greens, regional veggies and seeds. The Paleo diet is a healthy way to eat that works with your genetics to help you stay lean, strong and energetic! Research in biology, biochemistry, ophthalmology, dermatology and many other disciplines indicate it is our modern diet, full of refined foods, trans fats and sugar, that is at the root of degenerative diseases such as obesity, cancer, diabetes, heart disease, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, depression and infertility. This course will teach you different ways to prepare foods for a Paleo diet, allowing you to add healthy foods to your cooking repertoire. Join local Chef Michael Keene as he instructs you on methods to create different dishes utilizing and emphasizing Paleo. (3.5 Hours)
