What is FACEBOOK..?• Facebook is a revolution in the world of

SOCIAL NETWORKING brought up by Mark Zuckerberg, It’s mission is to give people the power to share and make the world more open and connected.

• Millions of people use Facebook everyday to keep up with friends, upload an unlimited number of photos, share links and videos, and learn more about the people they meet.

Mark Zuckerberg, Who is he..?• Mark Elliot Zuckerberg

(born May 14, 1984) is an American computer programmer and Internet entrepreneur.

• He is best known for co-creating the social networking site Facebook, of which he is chief executive and president. It was co-founded as a private company in 2004 by Zuckerberg and classmates Dustin Moskovitz, Eduardo Saverin, and Chris Hughes while they were students at Harvard University.In 2010, Zuckerberg was named Time magazine's Person of the Year. As of 2011, his personal wealth was estimated to be $17.5 billion.

• Zuckerberg began using computers and writing software as a child in middle school. Zuckerberg also took a graduate course in the subject at Mercy College near his home while he was still in high school. He enjoyed developing computer programs, especially communication tools and games.

FACEBOOK..once upon a time…• Mark Zuckerberg wrote Facemash, the predecessor to Facebook, on

October 28, 2003, while attending Harvard as a sophomore. According to The Harvard Crimson, the site was comparable to Hot or Not, and "used photos compiled from the online facebooks of nine houses, placing two next to each other at a time and asking users to choose the 'hotter' person".

• To accomplish this, Zuckerberg hacked into the protected areas of Harvard's computer network and copied the houses' private dormitory ID images. Harvard at that time did not have a student "facebook" (a directory with photos and basic information). Facemash attracted 450 visitors and 22,000 photo-views in its first four hours online.

• Facebook launched a high-school version in September 2005, which Zuckerberg called the next logical step. At that time, high-school networks required an invitation to join. Facebook later expanded membership eligibility to employees of several companies, including Apple Inc. and Microsoft. Facebook was then opened on September 26, 2006, to everyone of age 13 and older with a valid email address.

FACEBOOK..Nowadays…• After the Various continued scheduled updates of

facebook from February 4 2004 to the present day, facebook have evolved much recently facebook has updated his profile view with the Timeline feature.

• At present with a revenue of about 4.27 $ billion and 700 billion + active users . It has grown his roots in the field of social networking to that extent that all other Social Networking sites has got dumped.

would be able to stand up to the shoulders of the evolving Facebook, having Rapid increase in number of daily Applications and users, currently facebook has already employed 2000+ employees only for creating new future updates and execution plans of facebook, Big companies and firms are already fixing their different deals with facebook, even the facebook has already paired up with companies like Apple, Google, Android, etc.

• In future, Facebook is planning to reach and connect every single person on this social earth.
