Now that the fiscal year for 4-H clubs has ended (July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019), you can close out your Treasurer Book.
NOTE: The Annual Financial Summary and Annual Property Inventory forms have been updated. The new forms will be emailed/mailed to leaders on August 5.
The following items are due September 1 to the County 4-H Office from clubs:
• 4-H Treasurer Book for FY2019.
• Annual Financial Summary for FY2019 (be sure ALL required signatures are completed) *New Form*
• Annual Property Inventory for FY2019 *New Form*
• Proof of acceptance/rejection of IRS 990N electronic filing for Tax Year 2018.
• Clubs MUST submit verification of filing.
• Keep a copy of verification of filing in 4-H club/group treasurer book.
• All Clubs/Groups that hold an EIN must file.
(Above items are for reporting July 1, 2018 – June 30, 2019)

Club Financial Paperwork Due 9/1 Scholarships for 4-H Members and Ume Volunteers
Scholarships are available for active 4-H members and UME volunteers to attend a variety of events such as camps, state contests, workshops, etc. They are due to the 4-H Office at least two weeks before the scheduled event. Complete guidelines and the scholarship request form are available on our website at: http://extension.umd.edu/allegany-county/4-h-youth/4-h-forms
Contact Lacie for anything related to clubs, officers, record books, chartering, financial records, volunteering, trouble-shooting concerns, animal science, and barn area of fair.
Also if you just don’t know where to begin, ask Lacie.
Diamond Clover Awards Level 5 - Submit to our office by September 1 to insure you will receive recognition in 2020. *NEW* Level 6 - Submit your application to our office by September 1 for review. Applications are due to the State 4-H Office by September 30. Your county will need to review your proposal before you submit your proposal to the PORTAL.
