Single-depth island suites provide an ideal answer for compact kitchens, where there is not room for a full-size back-to-back Excalibur suite, but the Chef wants the efficiency and visual communication features of an island suite. Montague’s single depth suite is now being refined for introduction in by mid 2008. With a width of 42 to 48 inches, concealed center flues, and a length based on the Montague’s 36 inch modular heavy duty ranges....the possibilities are unlimited. Single-depth suite features include:
Pass-thru Oven: Montagues heavy duty range oven, with front venting for better temperature uniformity, now features two doors for access from either side of the suite. The oven cavity will take an 18 x 26 bun pan either lengthwise or widthwise.
Convection Oven: Montagues legendary range convection oven fits nicely into the single depth suite. Door access from one side only. Holds 18 x 26 bun pan widthwise.
Seamless Top: One piece seamless top and guard rails make clean-up easier at end of the day.
Controls: Controls can be positioned on either side of the island. Open-top burners feature controls on both sides, hot-tops can either be staggered or on the same side, and plancha grill controls can be placed on either side.
Top-Options; 12 inch & 18 inch open top grates. 18 inch Ring & cover hot top (French Top) & 18 inch Even Heat Hot top. 18 inch & 24 inch two-sided Plancha Grill, either manual or thermo-stat controlled.
Options: End cabinets with shelves or doors and work-top cabinets can be added in a variety of shapes and sizes. Over-shelves, pass-thru Cheesmelters, and Salamanders are all available. Comming soon will be underfired broilers, fryers, drop-in componenets and refrigerated bases.
