Water management, marine management, fisheries management and marine spatial planning.

Marine spatial planning is an entirely new mission. Spatial planning on land have long existed.

Marine spatial planning is necessary to plan our seas so that all interests can be met - such as wind power, fisheries, shipping and recreation - without compromising the functioning of ecosystems.
