Pilot Structure of the

ThereThere will be 3 “layers” of coordination. The main layer will be built on SHO/StR level trainees who will lead under supervision the studies. The upper layer will be a group of Academics who will supervise, authorize or set up the studies in coordination with the Ac-ademic Lead Board. The basic layer will be consisted of Medical Students who will work together with the team and acquire research training as well. The ratio will be 1:2:2 (Aca-demics : SHO/StR: Medical Students) and is subjected to the nature of the study. The Aca-demic Board can allocate directly the lead of the study to Medical Students if this is deemed feasible.The Coordination and administration of the Group will be under G. Paparoidamis ([email protected]) in collaboration with N. Staikoglou ([email protected]), under the supervision of the Academic Board.With regards to the nature of the studies, these will be classified on clusters. Every cluster will have a coordinator, as well as a Lead.

You can provisionally attach a research proposal (600 words) which would be conducted as part of the eMERG

Successful candidates will be approached for an interview

Selected candidates will be actively involved in pre-designed original animal model based studies which will be part of the eMERG clusters

There will be a prize for a funded study (scholarship)
