•Walk-In Cooler Door Alarm For a substantial reduction in energy consumption, we use smart alarms on all walk-in coller doors to alert employees if the door has not been fully closed.

•LED Exterior Lighting LED lights have a longer life and reduced energy consumption by up to 80% compared to standard neon signs and garage lighting.

•A Greener Store We worked to certify our sustainable building and development practices when designing and constructing this store. The result is a greener store that benefits the entire community.

•Occupancy Sensors We use occupancy sensors in all storage rooms, break rooms, offices, bathrooms, stockrooms and receiving areas to ensure lights are not left on in unoccupied spaces..

•No CFC Refrigerants the customer has been using a zero ozone depletion refrigerant (R-507) in our systems since 1995.

•Centralized HVAC System The heating and cooling system installed in this store is high efficiency and has zero ozone depletion potential.

•NProtocol-distributed Refrigeration Systems

•This system reduces the amount of copper piping by almost 35%. It also reduces the amount of refrigerant used, and helps minimize potential refrigerant leaks.

•Exterior Light Filtration Reduction Exterior lighting was designed to minimize light "pollution" into neighboring areas.

•"Heat Island" Reduction White "TPO" roofing membrane and the use of 100% concrete pavement reduces heat build-up and decreases cooling requirements for the store.

•LED Refrigerated Case Lighting LED lighting reduces energy consumption up to 63% compared to fluorescent lighting..

Energy Efficient Lighting

Our store lighting uses only 1.1 watts of electricity per square foot, one of the best efficiency ratings in the industry.
