Tips to combatdry hairWe have to admit it … The dryer and iron are not capable of hiding a broken and damaged hair. This problem needs our attention and care, the longer we let it go ... our hair will look worse, but do not worry, On this occasion, I will give you some easy and inexpensive solutions to treat this problem. You will look like a Hollywood star.

The first thing to take into account is that our hair needs healthy ends in order to grow strong, that is why every two to three months; we should cut the ends, making sure to provide our hair a dry free structure.

We should also start an essential beauty routine: untangling our hair in the shower with conditioner.

Many people use just shampoo and wait to finish their showers to comb their hair out, but that damage our hair even

more, Yes! The ends broke, but when we do it with the conditioner applied and with a wide toothcomb, we protect our hair.

Another fundamental aspect to keep under control is to protect our hair from the sun.

Be sure to cover it from sunlight. If you are on

the beach or by the

pool, use a hair moisturizer

and some kind of hair mask and speaking of hair

masks… there are a number of products you can use to prepare quickly and

economically at home.

The avocado, olive oil, the savilla and mayonnaise, are products you can apply directly to your hair to treat dryness.

Use cold water in the ends after putting your conditioner, avoid excessive use of the dryer or iron; away from hair dyes with ammonia

and gel with alcohol, are other important points to make your hair look and stay healthy.

Improve your postureAn expert explains that having a good posture has endless benefits. “It gives more attractiveness and elegance; it builds confidence, persuasiveness and presence. In addition, it avoids you respiratory and digestive problems as well as problems in your back”. Furthermore, having a good posture tones the abdomen and pelvic muscles that support the spine.

¿What can you do to improve your

posture?-Stay straight and upright with books on the head, preventing them from falling to the ground.-

-Walk without advancing your shoulders. “Keep them at the back, almost behind the hips and

you will get a stomach lifting immediately, because this will move to the inside automatically”

says Pouramini

-Do not drag your feet when walking.

“Visualize an imaginary line and bring your legs in parallel,” said the guru-Go a little faster than you usually do. “This small change in speed will give you more confidence and energy,” says Pouramini.

Breathe with your abdomen.

-Maintain a good varied and balanced diet rich in vegetables and fruits, and low in refined carbohydrates.

-Practice some exercise, preferably swimming, yoga, Pilates or stretching.-Rest enough hours 7 or 8 hours, and in a proper mattress, turn it around regularly and you should change it after 10 years of use.

¿What to avoid?-Your head should not precede your body when you are

walking. “It never has to go ahead”.

-Your steps should be neither too short nor too long, try to find a balance.“Despite what people think, perfectly straight column is not healthy. Forget this belief. The column must have a slight curvature-like a banana- in the neck and lower back, “says the chiropractor.

-Do not force the neck so that it is straight. “This prevents migraines, headaches, herniated discs, respiratory and digestive problems, and tingling in the hands,” The expert advised.

-Avoid emotional stress as well as the chemical one by ingestion of drugs or alcohol, and the physical result of poor posture, and spend many hours sitting or reclining on a couch, or from falls.

-Tu cabeza no debe preceder

and cover it with hot pasta sauce. For better results, do not rinse the spaghetti after drain it. Decorate the cups with what your children like the best, such as sweet corn kernels, green peas, shredded carrots, low-fat cottage cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, or mini hot meatballs.

Your house Vs

termitesTermites: Insects like ants that build colonies within wooden structures. This means they can easily become a pest for your home and the amount of damage they can cause will make a deep hole in your pocket, especially if you do not have home insurance to help you fix the problem.

Therefore, it is important to prevent them from settling in the structure of your home, knowing how to recognize the signs that they exist or if they are already there, act quickly to prevent further damage.

How to prevent termite infestationsFix the places in your home that have moisture.

Termites need water to survive. Make sure no water leaks or that a pipe is broken. Repair holes in your home to prevent

the entrance of termites. Use treated wood against termites. As prevention, you can give a chemical treatment to the wood of your home to avoid a plague.

Inspect your home regularly. To act now,

it is important to locate as soon as possible, risk places in your home where you can establish a colony of termites.

Your home insurance representative can give you additional recommendations

to prevent termite infestation. How to recognize the signs of termites: the exterior of the wood is deteriorated and has a hollow sound when struck.

The paint on the wood affected by termites

begin to peel or crack. You find termites that have developed wings around your house. Investigate which products can help you eradicate termites and contact a professional exterminator if the problem is greater.

¿Do Sports prevent the onset of sciatica? The static spine is a sum of complex mechanisms (bone, muscle, tendon, and nerve) where opposing forces sometimes intervene. Physical efforts in the lumbar level actively mobilize muscles as far as the abdominals, the psoas and the para-vertebral ones.

On the contrary, certain sporting movements that are abrupt explain the occurrence of vertebral and sciatic pains that sometimes become unbearable.

¿Is Sports, cause or extent of prevention?

Certain sports especially expose us to vertebral accidents:

- The asymmetric sports like tennis, golf, squash and badminton are the major triggers of sciatic pain.

- Any sport that requires foot movements and sudden

changes, such as rugby or football, should be practiced with caution, especially when you have a certain age!

-The sports that put pressure on the vertebral column, such as horseback riding, also have a certain risk.

In fact, any abrupt or unnatural movement may be liable to cause a vertebral misalignment.

Try to limit the risks

Body building is long-term preventive, it strengthens abdominals and the dorsal, but also the thighs (quadriceps). It is also intended to correct the lumbar lordosis (curvature of the spine located just above the buttocks), whose excesses destabilize the spine’s dynamic.

In addition, muscle warming is a prerequisite to any sport in which all the body parts are involved, for a progressive muscle start-up, filled with

stretching and flexibility exercises. Keeping a lumbar stabilizer is the most desirable in the case of any athlete who has been aware of some painful points in the buttock or at the back of the thigh.

Some are very practical (inflatable and adaptable to stress) and prevent excessive movements of the lumbar spine.

When these little signs are painful, but are transient, sports are advised to rest for a few days.

The Osteopathic physiotherapy purposes when reducing muscle contractures prevent relapses or limits the duration of a number of injuries.

Obviously there are also sports and activities beneficial and little given to cause sciatica pain: swimming, cycling, rowing, and jogging…

Napping helps you learnAccording to a study from the University of Massachusetts (USA) published in the journal Proceedings of the National

Academy of Sciences, preschoolers who take a nap at noon better retain what they have learned in the morning than children who do not sleep throughout the day.

Recent studies show that nighttime sleep promotes learning, consolidating information and increasing the efficiency of memory storage, but until now the effects of taking a nap were unknown.

In an experiment with 40 preschoolers, Rebecca Spencer and her colleagues developed an evening test of visual-spatial memory to check the retention of knowledge acquired during the morning. Half of the children took a nap, and the rest did not take a nap.

The results showed that the memory had been consolidated and learning was greater in those children who had taken a nap, confirming the benefits of naptime of the memory in the stages of life dedicated to learning.

Most common mistakes when hanging paintings.

We all use paintings to decorate our homes. It is one of those details that, if it is not there, we feel that the decoration is a bit empty. Either photos, paintings or posters, we always use some combination of these to decorate the walls.

Despite being so common accessories, many people tend to make mistakes when decorating with paintings. These tips will help you make your art and

photos are not drawing the attention in a negative way.

The size in comparison with the wall

One of the mysteries of life is why so many people use small paintings to decorate large walls. If you have a large wall, the painting should be too, especially if you have large furniture in the space.

This does not mean that you cannot decorate with small frames, as they are perfect to create a collage. Try different combinations on the floor before hanging, and do not be afraid of mixing frames and colors.

For large paintings, you should also be careful with these, as they should have a breathing space. Always remember

to leave at least 20 inches of wall around the painting.

The painting’s height

Do not make the mistake of hanging pictures too high or below. Always follow the rule of keeping the middle of the picture at eye level. As a general rule, the magic number used in galleries is about two feet. Another common mistake happens when hanging pictures above furniture. Instead of placing them in the middle of the wall, hang your paintings 10 centimeters above the furniture if it is high.

Now, If it is low, simply hang the

frame at eye level. Remember that if your pictures are very high, no one can see or enjoy them. Center the picture with the furniture and do not use one that is wider.

Hang all the pictures in the same way

Do not try to create an art gallery in your home, hanging all the pictures in the same way because the space becomes cold and too calculated. Try different combinations, for example, use a medium painting with several small ones around it, forget the drill and just put a few pictures

on any furniture. Before hanging, I recommend creating paper patterns which measure the same size as the frames. Stick them on your wall and try different techniques until you find the one that complements your decoration.

Use only pictures

Another way to avoid creating an art gallery is changing the decoration of the walls. For this you need to leave some empty walls and implement different accessories to create dimension in the environment. Mirrors are one

of the best because they reflect light and make the space look larger. The shelves are perfect for displaying souvenirs and other small details.

Clocks are a great way to create dimension, and with so many different models, you could find those that best combine with your house. Remember to use artwork and photos that you enjoy looking at every day, do not hang art only just because you like it. It is preferable to have blank walls to an art that does not match with your decoration.

The first intelligent racket is presentedBabolat has presented the first racket that records all our movements through a sensor implanted in the handle and it gives us useful information about the rights and wrongs of our game.

This accessory also

has access to Apple

electronic devices,

by allowing us to

view and share

statistics through the

mobile phone.

The racket Babolat Play Pure Drive is a pioneer in data collection during training or tennis games.

Every time you hit a ball forehand, backhand or do a service, the sensors capture the movement, strength and

the speed with which we execute the hit.

They also produce a comprehensive infographic about our improvements and our weaknesses, which serves as a basis to improve our technique. It also collects information on game time and level of impact of the ball.

The accessory is also connected via Bluetooth or USB port to our

electronic devices and allows us to see all information stored by the terminal screen, and even share in an online community of players.

Babolat Play Pure Drive will allow us to check the results of the game carefully as if it were a game televised, and perhaps it could help us improve our drive to the point that one day, we can participate in one.

Risks of eatingbefore driving

Overeating can be highly risky if done before driving, because of the effects it has on the physical reactions and the concentration of a person.

Overeating causes a number of effects, which we describe below:

- The meals that include soda or other sugary drinks as well as cookies, and cakes can contribute to the feeling of heaviness.

When sugar enters the body it produces the hormone insulin.

When you eat large amounts of food rich in carbohydrates, large amounts of insulin are released

and these ones can be converted into serotonin and melatonin, both with a clear role in inducing sleepiness.

- Eating foods high in fat creates even more drowsiness than a meal low in fat and high in carbohydrates.

Sleepiness is attributed to the presence of a hormone that is naturally released after high-fat meals.

Manchester University recently reported that even an imperceptible rise of glucose, decreases neuronal activity, so, in order to stay awake, it is recommended to avoid foods rich in carbohydrates or fats.

Things that were once a luxury and now are everyday things

In some parts of the world some things turn out to be more expensive and prized than others, this is due to how difficult it can be to get them, But with the passage of time and the help of technology, several of them have become everyday things and are accessible to any person.

Here are some of these things and their prices:

Salt: In the fourth century, salt cost its weight in gold for how complicated it was to get it from the mountains of the Alps. Now, however, is available to everyone for its cheap price and abundance.

Pepper: In Rome, in the fifth century, a ton of peppercorns cost the same as much as the security budget of the entire city.

Ostrich-feathers: In

London, in 1900, an ostrich feather cost the same as a gold ingot.

Pumpkins: In the nineteenth century, in Haiti, a pumpkin cost 20 pigs. Now the pumpkin soup is one of the typical dishes of Haiti.

Silk: In China, during the Han dynasty (206 B.C. - 220 A.D.), a roll of silk cost the same as a year in taxes.

Air travel: In 1939, an American who would like to buy a roundtrip ticket between New York and France should pay the same amount you would pay for a new car.

Internet Connection: In 1991, being connected for an hour to Internet was equal to several hours of professional minimum wage.

According to a study by the University of Oxford (UK) recently published in the specialized magazine “Flavor”, Yogurts appear denser and more expensive, if you taste them with a lightweight-plastic spoon instead of using a heavier spoon.

As for the size of the cutlery, the experiments revealed that the smaller the spoon we use to eat a yogurt, the sweeter is going to be its content to us, which

the authors attribute to our previous expectations, since normally we use a small spoon for desserts and a large spoon for the soups and stews.

On the other hand, if we get to taste a piece of cheese using a knife, we perceive that their flavor is saltier and more intense than if we use a spoon or fork, or if we click the food with a simple wooden stick.

Tell me what kind of cutlery you use, and I will tell you how your food tastes
