OUR STRATEGIC ALLIANCE

The Energy Alliance Team is a group of oil and gas service companies who possess expertise in various fields of core analysis and reservoir characterization. By combining each company’s expertise, the Energy Alliance Team can provide a full complement of core analysis services for both conventional and non-conventional reservoirs. This integration allows for a “turnkey” analysis of a conventional or sidewall core from wellsite core handling thru data integration and interpretation.

What is the Energy Alliance Team? The Energy Alliance Team is a group of oil and gas service companies who possess expertise in various fields of core analysis and reservoir characterization. By combining each company’s expertise, the Energy Alliance Team can provide a full complement of core analysis services for both conventional and non-conventional reservoirs. This integration allows for a “turnkey” analysis of a conventional or sidewall core from wellsite core handling thru data integration and interpretation. Advantage of using the Energy Alliance Team Each company within the Energy Alliance Team provides specific core analysis services and has extensive experience in their particular field providing a quality analysis product at competitive market prices. In addition, turnaround is better than current market averages from the large core analysis laboratories. Unless you desire otherwise, you only have to deal with one person from the start to finish of your project. While your project is coordinated through one person designated as client liaison, you still have full access to the expertise of each company and can discuss results with each company’s expert. Data from each team member is combined in the final output providing a fully integrated report with interpretations about your reservoir characterization issues. The group can bill separately or together in one invoice. The price is the same whichever way you want you’re billing. Preliminary reports are issued by each company as they are developed so that you have timely access to your data as it becomes available. The final integrated report is compiled after a review of all results with your company personnel to be sure all issues are appropriately addressed. This meeting between oil company personnel and the experts from each company is provided in a “Go to Meeting” format with all participants in your data’s evaluation participating in this meeting. Face to face meetings are available upon request. This meeting will address any further characterization issues that may need to be addressed prior to the issue of a final report. Consider the Energy Alliance Team for you next coring project. We provide both expertise and quality.

METAROCK LABORATORIES   Overview  A unique, diversely skilled company, MetaRock Laboratories has been providing a range of automated testing systems and analytical services since 1996. Their custom-designed products, built to simulate and withstand very high temperatures and pressures, service a high-value segment in the Oil & Gas Industry. While their initial drive was to be known at the forefront of the geomechanics testing field, a strong commitment to staying ahead of the technology and innovation curve has allowed them to extend their portfolio to a wide array of technology and automation solutions. MetaRock Laboratories provides a wide range of consulting services in areas of rock mechanics, core analysis, custom software development and specialized equipment automation. MetaRock Laboratories services include:

• Project planning and management • Mechanical property equipment design with automated data results • Problem specific equipment design and measurements • Instrumentation for data monitoring for improved data processing • Targeted research and development activities

Rock Mechanics Testing MetaRock Laboratories has a team of engineers with strengths in the rock mechanics field providing consultation and expert evaluations regardless of the complexity of the modeling. Making predictions of rock mass response and fluid flow through rock masses requires quantitative models of the governing deformation and fracture processes. Building these models and performing analytic and numerical design calculations from the models requires information about specific rock properties. MetaRock Laboratories has the ability to measure rock properties under a wide range of conditions including very high pressures and complex load paths. They have also developed independent experiments that provide a vital understanding of the behavior of reservoir rocks as they undergo the mechanical changes associated with drilling and production. MetaRock Laboratories is also known for fundamental research and applications covering a wide range of engineering problems. Over the years, a triaxial compressive strength system has been developed, verified and applied to realistic material models and computational procedures for characterizing the behavior of soils, rocks, and concrete.
