ANNEXURE -1 PR NO: CP/7181, dt: 3-5-2010 1. PLANT CAPACITY : D.M. WATER PLANT : The proposed D.M. WATER PLANT SHALL have capacity of producing 6000 Liters per hour of Treated Water. The R.O.System in the DM Water Plant will have 70% recovery with 6000 Liters per Hour of Permeate Water and 2,600 Liters/Hour of Reject Water. The RO system is designed considering that our Bore-well will have a TDS of 750ppm (maximum). The R.O. module proposed is designed as a Single stream, two array (2 stages) system. The plant operation is by manual operation but with Auto dumping facility to bypass feed water incase the Residual Chlorine levels are detected high. THE RO PRODUCT (PERMEATE) WATER FROM THE ABOVE RO SYSTEM WILL BE PASSED THROUGH A DEGASSIFIER FOLLOWED BY A MIXED BED UNIT TO ATTAIN FINAL OUTPUT WATER QUALITY WITH TDS LESS THAN 1PPM. R.D.M. WATER PLANT: The proposed R.D.M. WATER PLANT will have capacity of producing 4000-4500 Liters per hour of Treated Water. It is propose to install TWO nos RO Systems with capacities of 3000Ltrs/Hr and 1000 Ltrs/hr in order to minimize water losses. A) 3000 LPH RO SYSTEM : The Reject Water from the RO system in the DM WATER PLANT will be mixed with fresh bore-well water in the existing water sump and will be the feed to this 3000LPH RO System. We assume that this mix-water will have TDS of 2000ppm (maximum).The R.O.System is designed to have 50% recovery with 3000 Liters per Hour of Permeate Water and 3000 Liters/Hour of Reject Water. B) 1000 LPH RO SYSTEM : The Reject from above 3000 LPH RO System will be the feed to this RO system. It is assumed that this feed water will have TDS of 4500ppm(maximum). The R.O.System is designed to have 50% recovery with 1500 Liters per Hour of Permeate Water and 1500 Liters/Hour of Reject Water. WE PROPOSE TO MIX PRODUCT(PERMEATE) WATERS FROM THESE TWO SYSTEMS AND PASS THROUGH A D.M.PLANT CONSISTING OF CATION COLUMN, DEGASSIFIER UNIT AND AN ANIOIN COLUMN FOLLOWED BY MIXED BED UNIT TO ATTAIN THE QUALITY OF FINAL OUTPUT WATER WITH TDS LESS THAN 5PPM.

3.5 DISTRIBITION PIPELINES

commissioning. Guaranteed after sales service and supply of spares for at least 15 years after warranty shall be ensured.

3 .8 Essential Spares One set of mechanical, electrical/electronic spares for two years operations to be supplied. List of spares to be furnished(electrical/mechanical/ electronics)

3.9 Input power supply 415 ±15 V, 3 phase, 50 Hz. Isolator switch should be provided for isolating the total supply to equipment.

3.12 Erection drawings Foundation drawings to be sent to BDL one month of the placement of Purchase Order. DM and RDM plant drawings approval shall be obtained from BDL with in one month from the date of purchase order.

INSPECTION AND TESTING

3.14 During manufacturing Will be checked/inspected by BDL if the supplier is indigenous source

Will be checked and inspected by BDL production and maintenance team. The equipment will be checked for all functions and operations

3.16 Clearance for dispatch The equipment shall be dispatched only after testing/inspection at suppliers works and on written clearance from BDL
