Over the past few days I've been researching and researching about how to DIY Mod an iPod to an iMod. And I've been causing some big hooha over at the other thread about my endeavour. After one evening + night of hard work, my dad and I have finally completed our DIY iMod which I've decided to name BAMod. for thanking my dad wi th all the help he gave me and all the effort he put in to he lp me complete this thing. And just stands for Bad-***/Burger Alarm/Burger Ah-P a's, unless you guys can come up with a better one for me. (Edit: changed BAPod to BAMod, like BAM!) I've took over 40 over shots so I can show the process to you guys, whether or not you're interested, I dunno, but I thought it would be nice to share, it's Christmas anyways. If you guys wanna know where to solder and whatever , go t o head-fi forums, there's a sort of a guide there. There are near 20 huge pictures following, so you guys might get lagged. It was completed at around 11pm today , I haven't really had the chance to test sound quality and hence can't say much bout it yet. There are so me problems with the clipping of the because the capacitors are pressing against it, and the space inside the iPod 4G 20gb is seriously, crazily , cramped. Really great experience nonetheless Alright folks, please enjoy the show! (By the way , don't ask me about how to do this and that over here. If there is a need you can PM me, don't feel like turning it into a guide sort of thing) The famous Black Gates NX Hi-Q - 47uF and 6.3V, same as t he one Red Wine Audio uses
