Dear Division 28 Key Clubbers,

It’s the final stretch. There’s only 9 days left until DCON 2016 and the end of the Key Club year. Outgoing officers, thank you for all the hard work that you’ve put into your clubs over the past year. You’ve all done so much work in helping your clubs grow and thrive, and the division wouldn’t be anywhere close to how successful it is now without all your effort.

Incoming officers, your adventure is just beginning! A whole year awaits you, and I know you’ll do great. You guys are going to help the division grow even greater and serve the community like never before. If you haven’t already, get to know the incoming LTG, Peter Ch’en! He’ll be working closely with you to make sure your clubs are running as best they can.

To all DCON attendees (especially the first timers), I hope you’re excited! We’ve worked very hard to put on DCON this year, and I know that you’re all going to have an unforgettable time. Don’t forget to meet as many people, serve as much as you can, and cheer until your voice gives out. DCON isonly a weekend long, so make themost of it!

Your LTG, signing off,Adam NewtonLieutenant Governor of Division 28

In the midst of serene nature and fluctuating weather conditions lies the great Pacific Northwest

District (PNW).The Pacific Northwest is geographically the largest district of Key Club International. The district spans from western

Canada to northern California: with Alaska, Washington, Oregon, and the pan-handle of Idaho in between. The Pacific Northwest encompasses nearly 1.8 million square miles and includes over

300 clubs that operate under 45 divisions. Through rain or shine, snow or hail, Key Clubbers in the

Pacific Northwest dedicate countless hours to their communities and internationally, and are always

Proud 'N' Willing to serve!

UNICEF

Since 1994, Key Club has been Trick-or-

Treating for UNICEF and over the years

has raised nearly US$5 million for iodine

deficiency programs worldwide and HIV

and AIDS programs in Kenya and

Swaziland. Now it’s helping the Eliminate

Project.

MARCH OF DIMES

For decades, Key Club has partnered

with the March of Dimes to give every

baby a healthy start. Key Club members

raise thousands of dollars annually

through various programs, including

collecting change, holding dances, and

taking part in March of Dimes’ signature

event, March for Babies.

CHILDREN’S MIRACLE NETWORK

HOSPITALS

Key Club participates with Children’s

Miracle Network Hospitals by sponsoring

fundraising events. Key Club members

also participate in service projects at their

local children’s hospital.
