Reiki is an ancient healing therapy which is believed to have originated in Tibet, later surfacing in Japan and introduced to the Western World in the mid 1970’s. Since then its use has spread worldwide and now millions of people use Reiki to help themselves and others stimulate the natural healing processes.

Reiki healing enables you to heal yourself and others. This training course offers you the opportunity for personal development and spiritual growth. Once you have attended a Reiki 1 course, you will never lose the ability to give Reiki – anytime, anywhere, any place.

Whitelight Hypnotherapy Centre offers Reiki courses from beginner to Reiki Master level. Our Reiki courses are straightforward, comprehensive and class sizes are limited to no more than 5 per class to ensure all students receive the one to one tuition and skills practice they need to become proficient and skilled Reiki healers and Reiki masters.

The word “Reiki” (prounced ray-key) means universal life energy which is the energy source you tap into to channel reiki healing. Reiki courses are like no other training you course you will have experienced. You will receive a Reiki attunement which immediately connects you to the universal life force energy and raises your energy vibration to bring about your own personal healing. The attunement or empowerment is performed by a Reiki Master during a workshop. It is the attunement which allows the person to tap into and channel the Reiki energy. It cannot be learned from books or just being talked about. Without the attunement you may direct healing energy, but it will not be Reiki energy.

Once connected to the universal source you you will have the ability to heal yourself and others on emotional, physical and spiritual levels for their highest and greatest good. Being attuned to Reiki offers you the opportunity for spiritual growth and enlightenment. This Reiki courses teaches the original traditional Usui method of Reiki healing in addition to Tibetan Reiki which originates from Tibetan Buddism which is very powerful in bringing about cleansing and healing on deep emotional and physical levels.

Whatever your reasons for wanting to learn Reiki, this will be unlike anything you have experienced before.

The next Reiki course will be taking place on 1st and 2nd October 2011 which offers Usui Reiki level 1(foundation) and Reiki 2 (practitioner level).
