(Courtesy photo) Barrel Republic, the beer bar that started in Pacific Beach with a “freedom to pour” concept, celebrated its third anniversary in November with the Oct. 29 opening of its third location in Carlsbad and a slew of celebrations and San Diego Beer Week events. For the official third anniversary parties at all locations, Barrel Republic teamed up with Belching Beaver and Artifex Brewing to brew a commemorative beer. Their taps also featured special brews from each brewery, including Barrel-Aged Dammed, Barrel-Aged Horchata, a Brett IPA and a peach sour ale.
