As the oldest amateur Cricket Club in the United Arab Emirates, established in 1969 and previously headquartered on Al Khail Road in Dubai until January 2008, when the historic clubhouse, two pitches and six nets were forced to give way to the Meydan Development.
Darjeeling CC are now headquartered at the ICC Global Cricket Academy and are playing regular Friday and Saturday cricket, friendlies against local clubs, UAE Corporate sides and invitational games with touring sides from abroad.
Comprising of expatriate members from the UK, Australia, South Africa & New Zealand across vastly differing industries from airlines, banking, construction, engineering, hospitality, legal, logistics, media, telecommunications and many more.

Darjeeling are currently going through a rebuilding phase for Membership after losing our permanent home on Al Khail Road in 2008 and securing Sharjah English School at the end of 2011, and with the ICC now our permanent home in 2014 & 2015 for 40 games a year.
