Anwendungsgebiete: Zur Vorbeugung von Eutererkrankungen beim laktierenden Rind, Schaf und Ziege (Mastitisprophylaxe). Gegenanzeigen: Nicht anwenden bei bekannter Überempfindlich-keit gegenüber Iod. Nebenwirkungen: Die chronische Einwirkung von Iod kann zu Iodallergien (Iodekzem) führen. Bei Konzentrationen unter 0,01% ist ein Auskristallisieren der Salze nicht zu erwarten. Chlorhexidin ist inkompatibel mit Kaliumiodid. Chlorhexidin wird durch Saccharose inaktiviert.
