Summary

Daeyang O.I.P (Overhead Instrument Panel) consists of various instruments, Central Dimmer andinstrument Controller. The instrument panel provides information of vessel navigation.

The instruments are as follows.• Clinometer• Depth Indicator• Rate Of Turn Indicator• Gyro(Heading) Indicator• Rudder Angle Indicator• Ship Speed Indicator• Pitch Indicator• R.P.M Indicator• Wind Indicator• Clock

CENTRAL DIMMER can give optimum brightness control, individually or whole control by the operators.INSTRUMENT CONTROLLER can change an indicator unit (m/s, Knots, meter, feet, etc.) at the remote.We do all this control to the serial(RS-422) communication.There are 144 Type(DIC-MIP-144, 1840mm x 200mm x 200mm) and 192 Type(DIC-MIP-192, 2550mmx 250mm x 250mm) of the overhead instrument panel. 18~36 VDC power requirement enables thevarious indicators to be powered by external batteries or DC power supply.

Outline of Platinum Resistance BulbThe temperature resistance characteristic of platinum wire is internationally utilizedFor measuring temperatures in the range of -200°C to 600°C.Platinum thermal resistance bulbs are known to be most suitable when used as temperaturesensors which require extreme accuracy and stability.

High Temperature Platinum Thermal Resistance BulbThe platinum thermal resistance bulb is used to measure and monitor the exhaust and steamtemperature of the main engine and the boiler.This resistance element provided as a unit by depositing platinum wires and internal conductorsto an aluminum oxide bobbin, matches a thermocouple in mechanical strength.The platinum thermal resistance bulb allows accuracy and stability even under such a strictenvironment as a continuous high working temperature of 700°C.

Low Temperature Platinum Thermal Resistance BulbThe platinum thermal resistance bulb is used to measure and monitor the temperatures of lubricating oil, cooling water and bearing of various engines as well as the air temperature.Since the delay characteristic(response speed) is most important factor for low temperatureuse this thermal resistance bulb is so designed that its resistor element keeps excellent heatwhich may otherwise develop in it.The adoption of double protection tube does not affect the characteristic, maintaining thesame characteristics as those of protection tube types.
