opportunity for growth”Say:“Marketing Professional with ten years advertising and sales

Focus on Accomplishments, not “Duties”.

online presence for public relations firm, including site design, customer relationship management, pay-per click marketing, and social media”

Page 9: Creating a clear_and_effective_resume

Consider putting Education at the end.

• It’s not necessarily WHAT you know, but WHAT YOU’VE done with that knowledge. By focusing on your accomplishments and successes, you let the prospective employer know you don’t just look good on paper, you can produce results.

Page 11: Creating a clear_and_effective_resume

Keep it Clean, Clear, and Concise

• Keep it clean. Don’t use hard to read fonts. • Keep it simple. 1-2 sentences, 1-2 pages

Page 12: Creating a clear_and_effective_resume

Proofread!

• Proofread your resume yourself at least three times. Make sure that all of your information is correct, both in content and grammatically

• Have someone else review your resume for accuracy
