A peripheral is a device that is connected to a host computer, but not an integral part of it. It expands the host's capabilities but does not form part of the core computer architecture. It is often, but not always, partially or completely dependent on the host.
There are three different types of peripherals:
• Input, used to interact with, or send data to the computer (mouse, keyboards, etc.)
• Output, which provides output to the user from the computer (monitors, printers, etc.)
• Storage, which stores data processed by the computer (hard drives, flash drives, etc.)
OUTPUT
The output from these devices is input for the computer. Similarly, printers and monitors take as input signals that a computer outputs. They then convert these signals into representations that human users can see or read. (For a human user the process of reading or seeing these representations is receiving input.)
An output device is any piece of computer hardware equipment used to communicate the results of data processing carried out by an information processing system (such as a computer) which converts the electronically generated information into human-readable form

1. Projector yg terhubung dg komp, apakah proses yg trjadi? (laili)2. Terjadinya lemot, apakah penyebabnya? (fajar)3. Jelaskan output laser printer! (hanif)
4. Secara proses adalah input, tapi secara device/peripheral adalah output
5. Seringnya karena virus/ kerusakan Sistem Operasi/ rusak hardware. Tapi bs juga karena tidak sesuainya kapasitas komputer dg masukan/ instalan
6. Salah satu jenis printer yg kinerjanya hampir sama dg mesin fotocopy, menggunakan bahan “serbuk” sebagai media cetaknya.
