36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’[a

] 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[b

] 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”Matthew 22:36-40

44 But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. 46 If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? 47 And if you greet only your own people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? 48 Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.Matthew 5:44-48

To love and to serve each other…

Before we are husbands and wives, we are brothers and sisters

in the Lord.

Center of family life.

Make our homes the center of family life.

Make it joyous and happy.

Fill it with love and hope.

Be in fellowship with other Christian

families.

Let us, as a community of Christian family support one

another as we all journey towards God.

Exercise greater control over the

family’s use of media.

Let us disconnect from multi-media and REALLY connect with

one another in the family.

Develop Christian peers environment for

our children.

Let us actively encourage our children to be members of our

family ministries.

Become pastors of our children

20 In the future, when your son asks you, “What is the meaning of the stipulations, decrees and laws

the LORD our God has commanded you?”21 tell him: “We were slaves of Pharaoh in Egypt, but the LORD brought us

out of Egypt with a mighty hand. 22 Before our eyes the LORD sent signs and wonders—great and terrible—on

Egypt and Pharaoh and his whole household. 23 But he brought us out from there to bring us in and give us the

land he promised on oath to our ancestors. 24 The LORD commanded us to obey all these decrees and to fear the LORD our God, so that we might

always prosper and be kept alive, as is the case today. 25 And if we are careful to obey all this law before the LORD our God, as he has commanded us, that will be

our righteousness.”
