Quilling- Learn a New Unique Craftat the Stony Creek Library What is Quilling?

Quilling or paper filigree is an art form that involves the use ofstrips of paper that are rolled, shaped, and glued together to cre-ate decorative designs. The paper is wound around a quill to cre-ate a basic coil shape. The paper is then glued at the tip andthese shaped coils are arranged to form flowers, leaves, and var-ious ornamental patterns similar to ironwork. Come learn this unique art form at the Stony Creek Library, onSaturday, September 19 from 10am to Noon. Riders will receive full support bySAG vehicles, a motorcycle support team, mobile bike-tech spe-cialists, and rest stops along the route.
