A6 luxury cars could use a little excitementand LLTEK has several stylish upgradesavailable. The newest and most radical

is a full front bumper called the R6! This product isboth stylish and aggressive at the same time. For theNorth American enthusiast, LLTEK even offers theR6 bumper without European license plate indenta-tion as an option.The R6 full front bumper system arrivesat LLTEK in pre-preparation state. Quality sandingplus primer must be applied prior to painting. Theseare all standard features when LLTEK provides paintservice. Once prepared and painted, the bumper istruly inspiring. For these reasons LLTEK recom-mends (although certainly not mandatory) prepara-tion and paint by LLTEK. Audi factory original foglights cannot be used in the R6 bumper system andLLTEK provides 3 optional lighting programs, all farsuperior to the OEM fogs. When paint is optioned(price is $222), the service includes match paintplus a second color of black paint around the cornerlighting area. With paint service, LLTEK will also pre-install the lower 3 grill sections and will pre-installlight brackets and the specified light system at noextra cost. To install the R6 Euro bumper you mustpurchase from LLTEK a set of modified Europeanspecification A6 impact bar holders. This is areplacement bolt-on item taking only a few minutesto install. A semi-circular hole must be cut into thebar to allow the headlight washer to be positionedcorrectly.R6 Rear Overlay Valance Cars whichhave factory OEM back-up sensors installed low inthe rear bumper may have to raise the sensors ormodify the rear R6 valance if ordered. At time ofpublication, USA and Canadian cars with back-upsensors mostly have the sensors installed high onthe back bumper. Therefore no modification mustbe made on those cars when the sensors are high.

R6 Rear Valance Notes: The surfacevalance also serves as a frame for the exhaust exitpipes. For these reasons (as well as others) it isrecommended the purchase of the LLTEK exhaustsystem as this product utilizes features for correctpositioning and alignment with the R6 valance andthe many different Audi A6 rear bumpers. LLTEK A6(4B) exhaust systems come with micro adjustablehanger supports and flex joints to work correctlywith the rear valance on the Audi A6 and/or the R6overlay valance. Also, consider our hidden tipthrough the valance conversion program

NOTE: The R6 bumper system distributed byLLTEK has a similar look to the Audi bumper on theAudi RS6 car. However the two bumpers shouldnot be confused as being the same as there areseveral major differences. The OEM RS6 bumperfits only those A6 cars with the 4.2 motor (widebody). The R6 bumper (PF and WF) fits only nar-row body A6 cars utilizing completely differentlighting support and positioning systems.

Therefore the R6 bumper and OEM bumper on theRS6 car are not interchangeable. The R6 bumper(Model 4.2) that does fit the 4.2 wide body A6 uti-lizes different lighting support and position sys-tems, so again there are important fitting andstyling differences. In addition, grill framing struc-ture and supports are totally different. Audi factoryfog lights cannot fit on any R6 bumper. Thereshould be no confusion by any customer on thesematters regarding the LLTEK supplied front R6bumper and parts sold only by Audi and its autho-rized dealer network. Side skirts and rear valancesfor narrow body A6 are not intended and do not fitthe 4.2 wide body A6 car. Side skirts that do fit onthe 4.2 Audi are not the same as those appearingon the RS6 car.

LLTEK offers various styling upgrades for the pre-facelift, facelift and 4.2 variants. Look for lip spoilers for all models, sport grillsfor pre-facelift (PF) and with facelift (WF), headlight upgrades, tail light upgrades for sedan or Avant. For the back of the

Identifying A6 facelift - Spot the clues!In this publication, we often use the terms “pre-facelift” and“with facelift” to identify mid-year minor redesign of a givencar. For the A6 (4B) car, the most obvious way to identify thechanges is to examine the upper front grill (see pictures). If the lower corners of your grill are rounded, the car is“before” the facelift. Therefore we call it “pre-facelift” or (PF).If the front grill has square lower corners, the car is with thefacelift, identified as (WF). Facelift does not apply to 4.2,4.2S nor RS6 models.In USA and Canada, prefacelift (PF) would be 2.8 and 2.7Twith hidden exhaust tips. In USA and Canada, with facelift(WF) would be 3.0 and 2.7T with exhaust tips protrudingthru the rear bumper valance.Note: Facelift clues apply to sedan and Avant. Front grill on4.2 widebody car does not fit into the narrow body A6 car.

The S4/S6 (C4) Type 46 1992-1997 (also Audi 100/A6) from LLTEKThe S4/S6 (C4) Type 46 1992-1997 (also Audi 100/A6) from LLTEKTHE HISTORY At the urging of many enthusiastic owners of older S4/S6cars, LLTEK, through its design studio, has created a special “easy-to-install”lower fascia and a set of side skirts specifically for the North American S4/S6and Audi 100. European styling parts for these cars cannot fit on the NorthAmerican version of the Audi car. In addition to great looks, which trulybreathe new life into this classic S4/S6 and 100/A6 car, the fascia vastlyimproves internal air flow. Several powerful extra lighting options are alsoavailable.THE INSTALL Installation is totally simplified. When ordered prepaintedthe entire install process will take about one hour (plus glue curing time). Asimple quick and easy modification of the existing front bumper must be madeto install the new part. After removing the 3 lower grills, the 7 center supportsmust be cut at the top of each support. Then a final cut under the bumper on

the left and right side is made. A new optional under spoiler is also availableand is easily DIY if desired. Note: The part that is cut out of the front bumpercan be re-installed, therefore reversing the entire procedure.MESH, GRILL, LIGHTING Your lower grill mesh is the traditional tightpattern first found on the race inspired Audi RS2. This style of mesh is compat-ible with the upper Kamei sports grill which is available for the S4, S6 and 100and A6. When you order your lower fascia painted, LLTEK paints, preformsand installs your mesh as an option. If you order lower HID driving lights or thenew 5th generation Halogen driving lights, or 5th generation fogs, LLTEK pre-installs the lights at no cost when the paint option is chosen.

AIRFLOW TEST RESULTS A measuredvolume flow test was conducted to compare the OEM cornerair intake flow to the new corner intake on TYPE S46 installedwith a 3.5 light. Because the new corner intake on TYPE S46is larger than the OEM intake and because the new intakehas no cross slats, the measured airflow with light is greaterthan the OEM setup. Therefore, air to the side intercooler orside oil cooler (where applicable) is not hindered. Still LLTEKwill offer its three lighting options with three different sup-port positions. Position 1 (default position) is lights at outercorners. Position 2 is at the inside corner in outer air intakes.Position 3 is lights in center air intake at outer corners.Specify position at time of order.
