Andre Giraldo is an LA based classical guitarist who performs and teaches, as well as being a member of the trio The Artisan Guitar Ensemble. Nancy Evans Dance Theatre Saturday, June 23—4:30 pm Nancy Evans Dance Theatre, a modern dance company from Pasadena will perform in the Library on Saturday, June 23 at 4:30 pm. The dance troupe presents a unique take on story telling through movement using literature and audience prompts to create a one-of-a-kind dance experience. Reading Buddies Program is Back! Stop the summer slide with this wonderful reading opportunity for children at your local library. High School Volunteers will read with children ages 5-9 to assist them with maintaining their reading skills over the summer. Bring your kids to the Library, not only to find books, but to get a Reading Buddy! Wild West: Mystery of the Golden Piano Monday, June 11—10:00 am A legendary train-robbing outlaw is back in town, about to strike again! ScienceTellers uses amazing, interactive science experiments to bring an exciting story to life! This story features seven 'wild' experiments and lots of volunteers! Kid Zorro: Bilingual Puppet Musical Monday, June 25—10:00 am Noteworthy Puppets presents a puppet musical that re-imagines the origin story of the popular masked outlaw—Zorro! Sierra Madre Shakespeare Festival For their fourth season in our community, The Sierra Madre Shakespeare Festival, also known as The Downtown Repertory Theater Company, will be doing performances from 7:30 to 10:00 pm throughout the summer months.
