TRIO Student chosen as CMCC Student of the Year AUGUSTA, ME — The Maine Community College System (MCCS) selected seven students (one from each of the MCCS campuses) as each college’s Student of the Year. Students were chosen because of their academic success and campus and community involvement. The honorees were recognized at a luncheon hosted by the MCCS Board of Trustees at the Senator Inn in Augusta on April 26. CMCC TRIO student and Life Science major, Robyn Rawle was chosen as Central Maine Community College’s Student of the Year. Robyn has been an inspiration to her fellow students and to all who know her. She has been active and an officer in the Phi Theta Kappa honor society, been a multiple President’s List and High Honors List recipient, and has tutored in math and science for TRIO and also for Bates College students. She and her service dog, Sig, have been regular participants in many college activities. TRIO is deeply proud to call Robyn one of our own.
