Euroci)es Smart Ci)es Network - Eurocies founded in 1986 and its Brussels oce opened in 1992 - Telecies founded in 1993 and rst EC funded European Digital Cies project (94-96 - FP4) - led to further projects: - TEN-Telecom project InfoCies (96-98) - IntelCity Roadmap project (FP5 2002-3) - Intelligent Cies project (FP6 2004-6) - Telecies became Eurocies Knowledge Society Forum (KSF) in 2005 - Manchester was a founding member of Telecies and the Living Labs network (2006) which became the European Network of Living Labs (ENoLL) - Eurocies KSF launched its Smart Cies working group in April 2011, co-chaired by Manchester and Barcelona (both leads for EU CIP Smart Cies projects, Manchester with Smart Innovaon & People SMARTiP and Barcelona with Open Cies) 8.
