Information Technology Intern

The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority’s Information Technology department is looking for an Information Technology Intern (Part-time).

JOB SUMMARY: The Part-time Information Technology Intern will work on a variety of projects and tasks in the areas of applications programming and development, database programming and development, configuration management and systems administration, and web development.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must currently be enrolled in or completed a bachelors or masters degree level program in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field from an institution accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and/or the United States Department of Education. Applicants must have excellent computer skills (MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and strong written and oral communications skills. Computer skill sets may include, but not limited to, demonstrated knowledge of object oriented programming languages, web development tools, SQL, SQL Plus, PL/SQL, various end-user reporting tools, and other related query tools. Manager – Power and Way

DUTIES: Manages and directs the activities of the Rail District’s Power and Way Department. Ensures departmental infrastructure is constructed, inspected and maintained in accordance with applicable government and industry regulations, standards, and practices. Develops, implements, and manages predictive, preventative, corrective maintenance programs, and emergency repairs for the track, traction power, signals, and communications systems, support/operating equipment, and related functions. Oversees and monitors resources and maintains appropriate supplies, materials and equipment necessary to perform all Power and Way maintenance and related support functions. Manages ADA compliance for area(s) under jurisdiction. Responds to routine, non-routine and emergency situations on the Rail District on a 24-hour, 7-day per week basis. Works with external vendors and internal departments monitoring procurement and usage of departmental materials, equipment and supplies. Manages departmental contracts. Leads and/or participates in meetings and coordinates work efforts with Rail District and other Authority departments and staff. Ensures that occupational health and safety is maintained. Monitors and evaluates staff performance, provides feedback, coaching and/or positive contacts and performs investigations and makes disciplinary recommendations. Monitors, oversees and manages departmental Operating and Capital budgets. Assists District Director in the development of departmental budgets through data analysis, determining departmental requirements, and forecasting future needs. Ensures expenses are properly managed, processed and recorded in financial manage-ment system. Supports and participates in Rail District and Authority activities. Performs duties of a similar nature as may be required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must have a minimum of a high school diploma. An Associate’s Degree in Electrical-Electronic Engineering Technology, Civil and/or Signal Engineering is preferred. Applicants must have at least six (6) years of experience working with the construction, maintenance and repair of rail infrastructure, including, track structure, signal systems and traction power and catenary systems. Applicants must also have a minimum of three (3) years experience supervising unionized and non-unionized staff. Applicants must have excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills. Applicant must be competent with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Applicants must possess a valid Ohio Driver’s License.

STARTING SALARY RANGE: $67,864 - $89,919 annually.

DUTIES: Patrols assigned areas with purpose to prevent disorder, criminal activity and terrorism. Protects RTA passengers and employees within the RTA designated area and municipal area of concurrent jurisdiction. Maintains peace and order on the rail, buses, stations, platforms, and any other property of RTA or areas of concurrent jurisdiction. Operations Support – Record Acquisition

Field Support Representative, OMG, LLC

 Description The employee in this position is responsible for handling and processing mail as well as fill in for vacations, scheduled time off or emergency situations.  This includes sorting incoming mail, interdepartmental mail, notices, and memoranda for accurate and timely distribution.  The Field Support Representative will work unsupervised, reporting to the Field Manager.  The Field Support  Representative will be familiar with the operation of all the postage meter machines in addition to any other office equipment as required.  The work setting will normally be the mail center. The Field Support Representative will be knowledgeable of the client sites and outbuildings layout under his/her cognizance.  Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and capable of handling situations of considerable difficulty.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1.   Will receive incoming mail, interdepartmental mail, notices and memoranda; sorts according  to appropriate destination; all applicable reports and distributes to all applicable departments as needed.

2.  As required, will sort and weigh all outgoing mail; affixes appropriate postage using postage meter, transport to receptacle outside building, if available.  Ensure an accurate log on incoming certified, registered and i insured mail is maintained.

3.  Keep accurate record of daily postage expenditures.

4.  Takes postage meter to post office for inspections as required in employee's absence.

5.  Ensure adequate supplies for equipment are in the mail center.

Job Description 

The Inventory and Returns Coordinator is responsible for:

·          Overseeing the cycle count process

o     Executing, reconciling and reporting results

o     Inventory variance investigation/resolution

·          Inventory adjustments, transfers and receipts

·          Reviewing and updating the cycle count procedures as necessary

·          Overseeing the customer returns process

o     Returns processing (data entry required)

o     Returns reporting (weekly/monthly)

·          Overseeing the distributor overstock returns process

·          Reviewing and updating returns procedures as necessary

 

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Previous experience in similar role/responsibility is preferred. Must be very detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Able to

manage high volume workloads and changing priorities. Friendly and professional team player with excellent written and verbal

communication skills. Must be self-assured, tactful and supportive as well as self-directed and

motivated with sound judgment.  Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. Demonstrated project management skills, with strong analytical,

communication, and problem solving skills.

Description

Cintas is currently looking for a Loader/Unloader to join our team of partners. Cintas provides a variety of products to a large customer base each day. Those products include, but are not limited to: uniform garments, carpeted floor mats, heavy duty rubber floor mats, dust mops, shop towels, aprons, hand soap products, and air freshener supplies. To load and unload the products results in repeated bending, stretching, twisting, and lifting as well standing for 3 hours to up to 7 hours a day. Selected individuals are responsible for driving the trucks around the lot and loading and unloading the uniform garments and/or additional facility services products into and out of company trucks. Daily accuracy of products loaded and unloaded is necessary for inventory control and accountability.
