Caress my SoulPattern by Melanie Berg

When your soul needs a little hug, cast on a decadent yarn and lose yourself in the

meditative act of knitting.

Caress My Soul is an elongated semi-circular shawl with a garter stitch body and

a bold lace edging.

Knit it for yourself as an act of self-care, or bless a friend with it as a gift.

For even more of a happy lift, choose a gorgeous color like Olio Vergine, in Wollmeise's Blend.

Notes1. Caress my Soul is worked down and out from the center of the top edge.2. (Optional) For making the upper edge nice and stretchy to wear against your neck, you can add an extra yarn over after the very first st of every row (RS and WS) and then drop it again on the following row.3. Both sections, the garter stitch main part and the lace edging, take approximately about the same amount of yarn. 4. For a smaller version, simply knit fewer repeats of Section 1- leave out multiples of 3. That’ll give you a stitch count that willwork for Section 2 without any further changes.5. For blocking the edges straight and even, blocking wires are helpful.6. Please read through the entire pattern to familiarize yourselfwith its construction before starting to knit.
