Pollution and Engine Performance

Independent tests show for every 400 litres of diesel and petrol burned in a combustion engine produces an incredible:

• 3.2 kilos of sulphur

• 1 kilo of soot

• 1 kilo of resins and varnishes

Engine manufacturer Caterpillar say 90% of engine wear is caused by acid action, not friction. For every 10,000 miles of usage, engine performance is reduced by 1%. Recent data from the USA Road Transport Authority confirms for best results you need to treat the fuel

and oil system in an engine.

This is a simplified diagram of a fuel injection system. All fuel contains hydrocarbons, sulphur and water. When these elements are mixed together in the fuel tank and you add heat, they form H2SO4 which is sulphuric acid. As mentioned on our previous slide, 90% of engine wear is caused by acid build-up. As a bi-product of H2SO4, gum, lacquer and varnishes accumulate in the fuel system. We would liken that, in our body, to cholesterol in the arteries.

During the combustion process, these elements are burnt and form carbon deposits in the combustion chamber. This carbon also blocks fuel injectors, resulting in a loss of engine power and fuel efficiency. Our fuel conditioning products work by surrounding the sulphur molecule and emulsifying the water to prevent them mixing together. This way we prevent the formation of sulphuric acid. We will simulate this in a demonstration shortly.

The Firepower Purge Machine

The Firepower Purge Machine is designed specifically to remove harmful deposits from the engine’s fuel delivery system.

By using our unique purge fluid, we are able to dissolve harmful power robbing contaminants and deposits from the vehicles fuel system, including the throttle body, fuel rail, injectors, valves and pistons, and carburetors.

It is important that the fuel filter must be replaced after the fuel purge process . The accumulation of deposits in the filter may block the fuel filter starving the fuel delivery system from fuel.

Firepower FP 4000

Firepower FP 4000 is designed specifically to treat problems that are inherent in diesel fuel and fuel storage. These problems include water contamination in fuel tanks and the formation of deposits in the fuel system of an engine.

Diesel fuel is unique in that it is hydroscopic, meaning it forms water through condensation in storage. This combination of water and diesel provides an ideal environment for bacteria to form. This bacterial algae contaminates the fuel and clogs filters, injectors and causes poor performance and black smoke during combustion.

It is important that the fuel filter must be replaced after the fuel purge process . The accumulation of deposits in the filter may block the fuel filter starving the fuel delivery system from fuel.

Water Contamination in Diesel Fuel

An engine running on diesel contaminated with water and bacteria will experience the following:

Firepower FP 4000 works by emulsifying the water, starving the bacteria of its environment in which it grows. This water is passed harmlessly through to the combustion chamber. Firepower FP 4000 also stops bacteria from reforming, and increases fuel storage life.

Firepower FP 4000 contains active ingredients that remove harmful deposits from the fuel delivery system. FP 4000 neutralizes acid, cleans varnish/sludge from fuel tanks and lines. Firepower FP 4000 will also extend fuel filter life as shown below

All of our fuel conditioning products contain an effective combustion catalyst. Scientific tests have proven that our products speed up the fuel burn by 25-30%, and can provide combustion efficiency of up to 90%. This can be proven scientifically with emissions tests. Hydrocarbon emissions come about by unburned fuel. After an engine is treated of our products, the hydrocarbon emissions are substantially reduced. Carbon monoxide emissions are brought about by incomplete combustion. Once again, these are reduced after usage of our products.
