Who Qualifies for Warm Homes?

• Owner Occupiers

• Those renting from a private landlord who are in receipt of a qualifying benefit

• NIHE and Housing Association tenants do not qualify

Measures Available underWarm Homes Plus

As well as previous insulation measures eligiblehouseholders may also be eligible for:

• Installation of a fully controlled energy efficient gas or oil central heating system.

• Conversion of an existing bottle gas (LPG), solid fuel or Economy 7 heating system to gas or oil

Boiler Replacement Allowance

• Administered by the Housing Executive• Up to £1,000 may be available to replace your old

boiler• Aimed at owner occupiers with total gross income

less that £40,000• The Allowance is not available to tenants in either

the public or private rented sector.

Who qualifies for the Boiler Replacement Allowance?

• Owner occupier• Your existing oil or gas fired boiler must be at least 15

years old• Total gross income less that £40,000• The work must be carried out by an installer suitable

experience or expertise• You must use ‘Gas Safe’ registered installer for gas

boilers

The amount you receive depends on your total income and the type of boiler you plan to install.

*These allowances will also apply for converting to a wood pellet boiler
