STUDENT SUCCESS STORIES

Brooke Hannah, New ZealandFoundation Studies pathway to B Science (Evolutionary Biology)

“When I discovered Bradford College it blew me away, and when I found out I had gotten in, I was over the moon. I’d been given a second chance! What’s great about Bradford is that the classes are designed to be taught like you were attending a class at a university. It is a very diff erent way of teaching but it also makes it more interesting. It has helped me to be able to structure my time more successfully and now I have a schedule in place and am able to manage my time with less diffi culty. The teachers also genuinely care about you, and that’s something which is not easy to fi nd these days, which has further helped my studies.

Studying in Adelaide has been an amazing experience, I really have come into my own; the night life is awesome and everything you need is right on your door step. It also helps to have amazing friends to be able to explore your new home with.

My ambitions for my career are to become the youngest palaeontologist in the world, and to travel all over the country to educate communities and children on their prehistoric history, and I think Bradford can help me achieve those goals.”

“Bradford has given me a second chance and will help me

achieve me career goals”

Astrid Wilson, RussiaFoundation Studies pathway to B Teaching with B Arts

“Bradford College was the best decision for me because I left high school early and needed to do the extra classes before I could go to university. The adjustment to Bradford was a little tough at fi rst, but my studies have helped me to concentrate and now I am confi dent of myself and what I am capable of.

Studying at Bradford has really improved my grades. The integration of university teaching, such as the lecture style classes and expectations of students to keep track of their assignments, has really improved my studying and research skills. The support from the teachers has also helped me achieve the great results I am seeing from myself now.

I have loved every minute at Bradford; the teachers are great, and I have learned so much. Each teacher has their own unique style of teaching, which has given me a broader learning experience. I absolutely love Adelaide too. I love how Bradford is so close to the University of Adelaide, because it allows me to integrate in to the university lifestyle through the social clubs and facilities.”

“The support from the teachers has helped me achieve the great

results I am seeing now”

Kwanghwan Kwon, KoreaFoundation Studies pathway to B Dental Surgery

“When I fi rst came to Australia, I wanted to fi nd a bridging program that would help me get into the University of Adelaide to study dentistry. I had several options to choose from but the foundation course off ered by Bradford College has a reputation for excellence. My time at Bradford College was enjoyable, bringing with it many experiences that I’ll cherish for years to come. I found the culture at the College to be highly integrated and diverse which furthered my understanding of other peoples’ customs and values. Bradford College stands out through it’s comforting and accepting environment; the teachers there always made sure their students felt secure and supported.

Bradford has helped me understand the importance of a good work ethic and the concept that hard work pays off .

Many people I know struggle to adjust to university life but my time at Bradford College made the transition into tertiary learning smooth. My plan for the future is to become a practicing dentist in an area of need, perhaps rural South Australia. I also plan on visiting a third world country where my skills as a dentist will be greatly needed and will endeavour to address inequalities in oral health. Bradford has brought me closer to achieving that goal.

Bradford College is the complete package for students who want to pursue tertiary education in Australia as reflected by it’s vibrant atmosphere and sociable people.”

“My time at Bradford College made the transition

into tertiary learning smooth”
