Organization of the company:
Organizational chart is a graphical representation of the structure of organization that shows the
relative positions of individuals in an organization. It tells about the reporting relationship
prevalent in the organization and formal lines of communication between individuals. It is a
formal mechanism that describes who reports to whom, how tasks are delegated, and it helps in
motivating and controlling employees. It also shows how employees coordinate with each other
to get the work done.
Generally there are four types of organizational structures: functional, divisional, matrix and flat
or horizontally linked structures. These different types of structures are used by different types of
organizations and each has its pros and cons. Organizations tend to choose the structure that best
suit their needs.
Organizational charts are detailed graphical representation of organization structures and
hierarchies. Organizational chart tells both employees and individuals outside the organization
about the reporting relationships of the organization, how tasks are divided and delegated, and

the management levels established in the organization. Organizations allocate duties, activities
and management authority to its employees, empowering some more than others, and they have
to make sure that the distributed tasks are coordinated with no redundancies and gaps left in
operations and management. A detailed organizational chart can help managers and decision
makers analyze if there are any redundancies or gaps left that needs to be filled.
Organizational Charts of the different departments and the effectiveness hierarchy is shown in
appendix I.
External Influences
An organization faces a lot of impacts, some of them are internal and some are external. Giving a
bigger indepth pictuture of the Bradford College will discuss some of the external influences that
are faced in the global era by College.
The external influences that affect this organization are
Legislation:
The Educational institutes are not like other manufacturing or commons service providing
organizations. But the out of their input is the students who are humans and have not only the
impact on their lives but will also impact the society or group they will go back after the tenure
from this Bradfrod College. In order to make sure of that, the College had to create strict but non
stressing and relax policies and regulations, which can nourish the student’s personality in a way,
that their objectives can be alligned with the societal development and create a positive impact
on their regions. The well learned and graduated students are not only representing themselves as
the profession they will chose but also represents the image and brand of the Bradford College.
Thus to preserves all these things the College had to take micro level analysis, controlling and
monitoring of the Liscences they acquire. Which can gurantee to the society and the people
associated with the students who take admissions in the Bradford College, that they will be a
developing and progressingpart of the society during and after the tenure of their Higher
eductation. Legalisation is a sensitive and a requires a well developed plans. Thus is an utmost
important external influence of the Bradford College.
Economy:
Economical circumstances are the phenomenal major impacts for any organization. They are not
only highly corelated with other organizations in the same industry but also with the
organizations and institutes who are not associated in the industry. The fluctations brings the
economic downturns and the cashflow instability or boost, in either case a propoer in depth
planning is required to maintain the financial strength of the business of the organization. So that
the organization can fulfill its expenses and can be stabil to work on. Economical analysis and

the industry analysis is a very importan factor that should be considered during every quarter of
the orgnaiztional financial year. So to access for the future projections and gian more to provide
better quality services. Other than these economical issues the impact on the other industry
orgnaizations also influence hard. Forinstance the decreasing growth rate in the industry might
cause the lesser enrollment in a particular course. The increasing costs of the might increase the
tution fees and make the students resistive to enrol. The funding of the university, the job
demand in the market, the ratio of students applying at the university, the competition in terms of
the courses being offered by rival universities or the competitveness of the rival organizations.
The overall situaiton of the economy in the country has made it difficult for the university
management to gather honourable and rich guests and funding for the university and since
government grants are in scarcity the university has to rely on the use of their own fund raising
by arranging events that would attract the rich fund philanthropists.
Competition:
The competition in the industry is another major factor that can influence the organizational
growth and stability of the organization. The strategies of the competiting organizations in the
same educatoin domain might cause a lower market for the prospectous students. This will not
only reduces the earnings but the image and stability of the organization. Thus to control
competition, the Bradford College, is keeping it’s image, services and quality up-to-date.
Bradford College’s Marketing Strategy is supportive enough to compete them in the educational
industry of UK. This makes them to bring a good image infront of the hiring employer and the
prospectous Students.
These can affect the operation of the business in this way that the more the competition the
university the lesser talented and skilled students are liable to apply at Bradford. The competition
currently in the UK itself is very daunting. Most of the universities are fighting for foreign
students to apply to their institutes because it effects the financial situation of the organization
and enables them to provide more opportutinites for the students at Bradford University.
These factors are important because the organization would need to address them head on
because the competition would take away all of their funding since most of the funding comes
from research institutes and fortune 500 companies that intend to hire such individuals the
university has to look into the situation immediately and work on a solution so that the fundings
do not escape to their rival universities.
The overall situaiton of the global economy is also important since it prevents foreign students
from entering the country legally due to higher costs of travel and study and bars them from
enrolling themselves in any education institute. These students are the life line to the institute
because they not only pay for their fees in full but also use most of the university insfrastructure
and thus contribute more than the average local student.

organization is expanding and growing comparatively at a better rate in the industry of education
in UK. Bradford College had developed an image and markets its services through the Quality

Competitive external influences are highly uncertain to determine. Quality of the services of the
