We also have access to dual credit through Missouri State, Missouri Valley and Central Methodist. Many of the classes require a minimum GPA and/or an ACT for our students to enroll. The student then registers to take the class at a lesser expense. The world of high school dual credit is an ever changing and ever growing world. Mike and Lisa Farmer, with the support of the Op- timist Club, organized this year’s program. 1. Cadet Teachers.A much-anticipat-ed activity for many Rock Port students is cadet teaching. Once seniors, stu-dents can sign up to cadet teach with a staff member in the building, which the students - the se-niors and the under-classmen - enjoy at least as much as the teachers they are helping. Rock Port High School currently works with the University of Missouri-Kansas City, Missouri West-ern State University, Northwest Missouri State and North Central Missouri College. We also have access to dual credit through Missouri State, Missouri Valley and Central Methodist. Many of the classes require a minimum GPA and/or an ACT for our students to enroll. The student then registers to take the class at a lesser expense. The world of high school dual credit is an ever changing and ever growing world.
