It will produce thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat the plants of the field. By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return. Adam [fn] named his wife Eve, [fn] because she would become the mother of all the living.The LORD God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them. Genesis 3:14-21

Biblical CovenantsAbrahamic Covenant-The LORD had said to Abram, "Leave your country, your people and your father's household and go to the land I will show you. "I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you. Genesis 12:1-3Biblical CovenantsMosaic CovenantNow if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying, 'Know the LORD,' because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest," declares the Lord. "For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more. Jeremiah 31:31-34
