We serve a supernatural God! He is not limited by anything or anyone and He’s ready

The word “supernatural” means different things to dif-ferent people. Some people see it as make believe. Others think of dark, strange events which can cause fear and uncertainty. While many Christians believe in the “su-

pernatural,” they believe in it for someone else.

The second coming of Jesus Christ is the hope of believers that God is in control of all things, and is faithful to the promises and prophecies in His Word. In His first coming, Jesus Christ came to earth as a baby in a manger in Bethle-hem, just as prophesied. Jesus fulfilled many of the prophecies of the Messiah during His birth, life, ministry, death, and resurrection.

However, there are some prophecies regarding the Messiah that Jesus has not yet fulfilled. The second coming of Christ will be the return of Christ to fulfill these remaining prophecies. In His first coming, Jesus was the suffering

Servant. In His second coming, Jesus will be the conquering King. In His first coming, Jesus arrived in the most humble of circumstances.

In His second coming, Jesus will arrive with the armies of heaven at His side.

In the Old Testament in the book of Isaiah it reads in Isaiah 41:10 “Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, Surely I

will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” I have been asked before questions from individuals about the topic of signs of the end times as it relates to the second coming of Jesus Christ the Son of God Jeho-vah. For some reason the topic of the second coming of Jesus Christ is a subject to some that causes fear,

or mixed emotions. God’s word is clear, God did not send his son to condemn us on the contrary, it reads

in the New Testament in gospel of Jesus Christ in John 3:17 “For God did not send his Son into the world to

condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” Stay with me I have some good news.

One of the definitions of word ‘uphold’ from Web-

ster’s dictionary is, - to keep erect; to sustain; to keep from falling; to maintain. Isaiah a prophet of God received a word from God at a time Israel needed

encouragement so God through the prophet sent a word to declare to Israel I’m your helper. Yes God

sent a word, ...Surely I will uphold you ... , keep erect, sustain, keep from falling, and maintain. The man of

God Isaiah declared God’s word, the Biblical name Isaiah is Hebrew in origin and the meaning of the

name is Jehovah has saved. You see God will always provide a word through an individual that is in a

relationship with him, and because he is a covenant keeping God his word will always produce what he has declared. God proved his mighty acts time after

time to Israel then and today through Christ his power is still producing good news.

In the first paragraph of this article I stated I have been asked before questions from individuals con-

cerning the topic of signs of end times and the second coming of Jesus Christ. A lot of detailed scripture

provides signs we can clearly see unfolding even now, for example in the New Testament in the gospel of Jesus Christ according to Matthew it reads in Mat-

thew 24:37-39 “As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking,

marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what

would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son

of Man.” What do you observe? Today its as if what is wrong is right and visa versa, do not get discouraged I

have good news.

Isaiah heard a word from God and declared it, ...Surely I will uphold you ... , today just like in the

time Isaiah declared his word then God is looking for people to declare his word now. You see some of the individuals that asked me about the end times signs and the second coming asked because they heard or read about this topic somewhere. And yet knowing

something about it still fall in the lifestyle that Christ expressed, “As it was in the days of Noah, ...” Family, friends, are you doing your part? Just as sure as you are reading this, some one we know, a relative, a co-worker, or a friend needs to hear there is a God that ‘upholds’ just like he declared it through Isaiah, and for today as recorded in John 3:17 “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world,

but to save the world through him.” This is our God, through Christ good news.

TODAY’S WORD from Joel and VictoriaOne thing I’ve learned is that God doesn’t always work on our timetable. In fact, He rarely does. But in a single

moment, God can change your life! All throughout Scripture, we see examples of how God was working

behind the scenes and instantly turned things around for His people. Scripture tells us He is the same yester-day, today and forever which means He can instantly

turn things around for you, too!

You may be going through some difficulty today, but be encouraged because your times are in God’s hands. He wants to accelerate things in your favor. He wants

to take you further than you dreamed possible and work in your life in ways beyond what you have ever

imagined.

Let this truth sink down into your heart today. Resist discouragement by speaking His Word over your

future. Keep standing. Keep hoping; keep believing because He is working behind the scenes. He’s going to accelerate your times and lead you into the life of

victory He has for you!

That means that everything He has is yours! The way you tap into that favor, or activate it, is by thanking Him for it. Say, “Father, thank You for Your favor today. Thank You that Your favor is causing me to be at the right place at the right time. Thank You that Your favor is caus-ing people to want to be good to me.” See, you don’t have to pray about something that you already have, just re-

ceive it by thanking Him.

Before I speak each week, I never say, “God, please give me Your favor. Please give me Your anointing.” No, I sim-ply say, “God, thank You for Your anointing. Thank You for Your favor on my life. Thank You for equipping and

empowering me.” See, I know that it’s all part of my inheritance.

Today, activate His promises by faith. Praise and thank Him for His goodness and for blessing your life. Receive His Word as truth and hold it in your heart because He

has already given His favor and blessing to you!

not look blessed; in fact, all the circumstances may tell you that you’re not blessed. But you’ve got to be bold enough to say, “No, I see it right here in God’s Word — I am blessed with every spiritual blessing

in Christ!”

What does it mean to be blessed? It means that you are supernaturally empowered to do whatever God has called you to do; to be whoever God has called you to be; and to have whatever God has called you

to have. God’s blessing is His empowerment! The key is this: you have to believe it in order to receive it. You can’t walk around in guilt and condemna-tion from the past thinking you can’t do anything

right and expect to keep moving forward. You have to shake off those old mindsets by declaring God’s truth over your life. Truth sets you free. When you speak God’s truth that you are blessed, you will be free to believe it and free to receive it! Today, take

hold of what belongs to you. Approach the day with an attitude of faith and victory knowing that you

are already blessed!

TODAY’S WORD from Joel and VictoriaLet me ask you today, what are you letting arise in

your life? In other words, what are you focusing your words, energy and thoughts on? You might say, “Oh,

Joel, it’s just so hard right now. I’ve lost some money.” “My health doesn’t look good.” “Somebody walked

out on me.” No, you’re focusing on the wrong things. You’re letting defeat, discouragement and self-pity rise up. Why don’t you turn that around and say,

“God is still in control. Somebody may have walked out on me, but I know God is going to bring me

somebody better.” “I may be hurting right now, but I know God is the restorer of my soul.” “I may have

lost money in the stock market, but I’m not worried. I know God is my provider. He is supplying all of my

needs. He is fighting my battles.”

When you start giving God glory and letting Him arise in your life, you can’t stay defeated. Your en-

emies will be scattered! They’ll tremble at your words of faith. Begin right now by declaring God’s goodness

in your life and let Him arise so that you can move forward in the victory He has for you.
