    David M. Gilmour...P.O. Box 76 Station Main 6 Federal Dr. White City SK S4L 5B1 David has been showing since 1988 and breeding since 1991. His kennel name is Zaracon Reg. He has bred, owned and exhibited Boxers, Boston Terriers, Labrador Retrievers and Rottweilers. He has judged in Canada and the USA.

    Norma Schaffer…………………2520 Hwy 97A SE Salmon Arm, B.C. V1E 1C3 Norma’s life with dogs began early with her father's hunting dogs, a pair of Springer

    Spaniels. She was introduced to the Vancouver Junior Kennel Club where she became

    involved with obedience training. She has trialled her own dogs since 1975 and became

    an obedience judge in 1988. She is actively involved in tracking, obedience, rally, spaniel

    hunt tests, and the St. John Ambulance therapy dog program.

  • The precincts of these events will be Hall 1 and 2 of the Heritage Park venue. No persons or dogs shall be allowed in any other part of the facility. Persons not adhering to this rule will be ejected from the show and the venue.

    Note: There will be no refunds for duplicate entries or overpayment of fees. It is the owner of the dog entered that is responsible for any error in entering his/her dog regardless of how or by whom the entry was made. Please review email confirmations so

    corrections may be made prior to closing date to avoid disappointment.

    BORDER CROSSING A Rabies Certificate is required to bring a dog into Canada. Government regulations require this Certificate and MUST be dated at least 30 days prior to re-entry into the US.

    Please mail early in case of delays with the postal service. Please note it takes about 10 days to get a letter from the US to Canada. All acknowledgements will be sent via email

    and schedules will be posted on www.classicshowservices.ca and www.dogshow.ca. Breed counts will be posted on www.classicshowservices.ca

    Drop boxes will be available notified via facebook

    2. ENTER Online or Fax at DogShow.ca noting a 10% service charge is applied.

    The tendering of NSF cheque shall be considered non-payment of entry fees and is punishable by returned cheque. Exhibitors whose charges are declined by the Bank Card Authorization Department will be assessed a service charge of $25.00 for each transaction declined. Telephone entries are not accepted by the Show Secretary. Incomplete entries or entries received without fees, or entries received after the advertised closing date will not be accepted.

    Attention foreign exhibitors, please note that fees are due and payable in Canadian dollars. Due to consistently fluctuating currency rates discounted cheques will not be accepted. Personal cheques will be accepted, however, they are to be payable in Canadian Funds. If you sent a cheque in US funds, it must be made out for the full amount of the entry and no exchange will be refunded to the exhibitor. Please DO NOT make cheques “Payable in Canadian Funds” or “At Par”. They will not be cleared by the banks. To simplify the process, we urge that you purchase bank drafts or money orders payable in Canadian Funds.

  • CONFORMATION CLASSES

    The following Regular CKC Classes (divided by sex) will be offered:

    JUNIOR PUPPY CLASS - This class shall be for any dog 6 months of age and under 9 months of

    age on the day of the show

    SENIOR PUPPY CLASS - This class shall be for any dog 9 months of age and under 12 months of

    age on the day of the show

    12 to 18 MONTHS – This class shall be for any dogs 12 months of age and under 18 months of age on the day of the show.

    CANADIAN BRED CLASS - This class shall be for any dog born in Canada. (Champions of any country excluded)

    BRED BY EXHIBITOR CLASS - This class shall be for any dog owned and handled in the ring by owner/breeder. The handler MUST be the owner/co- owner AND breeder/co-breeder of the dog. The owner/breeder must handle the dog at the class level, but need not handle the dog for further awards

    OPEN CLASS – This class shall be for all dogs.

    VETERANS CLASS - This class shall be for dogs 7 years of age and over on the day of the show. Dogs entered in these classes may be spayed or neutered. This class will be divided into 7 years and under 10 years and 10 years and older.

    SPECIALS ONLY CLASS - This class shall be for any dog that has a recorded CKC Registration or

    Event Registration Number and has attained the required points for Championship status. Note: A Listed dog may be moved to the Specials Only Class after the closing of entries, provided the CKC Individual or Event Registration Number was received prior to the first day of the show.
