Blasting System is the ideal process for prolonging the life

and performance of a wide range of mining equipment, machinery

It reduces the effects of corrosion and other forms of abrasion, caused by

operating in extreme heat conditions, excessive wear and tear, and exposure

to chemicals and other corrosive materials. Abrasive blasting enables

affected surfaces to be effectively and efficiently stripped back to a corrosion-free base that can then be primed and

protectively coated.

The Quill Falcon Kwikblast® Dustless Blasting System is the ideal preparation

for repainting and re-coating all types of mining machines and apparatus, as abrasive blasting also effectively strips away old layers of paint and

Protective Coating

Powder CoatingPowder coating is an alternative to traditional spray painting. Paint is applied as a dry powder, made from a mixture of finely-ground pigments of colour and resin, which is then heated and so creates a coating on the surface. Powder coating creates a hard and tough finish that is stronger than conventional paints, produces less waste, and creates a range of finishes and colour schemes.

We offer powder coating as a complement to our abrasive blasting services. After stripping and cleaning mining machinery and equipment, we can improve its protection against harsh operating conditions and the environment by finishing the job with powder coating. Powder coated surfaces

are longer-lasting, resistant to chips and scratches, don’t fade as quickly, and don’t flake or peel.

All of this combines to make powder coating the ideal finish for mining equipment, machinery and structures that are used in harsh Australian conditions.
