Auction Information General Auction Information

All sales are final, and there are no exchanges or refunds. No warranties are made with respect to the value or quality of the merchandise or service auctioned. All sales are “as is.” Donors submitted the values listed. Unless otherwise specified, all auctioned items and services must be arranged with the donor and the successful bidder.

Silent Auction Information The silent auction will begin promptly at 6:30 PM. A bid sheet is displayed with each silent auction item. You may bid on items by signing your Bidder Number and the amount of the bid on the next blank line available (dollar amount only). Some items will have a “Purchase Now” price. If someone agrees to the “Purchase Now” price by placing their Bidder Number in the box with the “Purchase Now” price, that silent auction item is immediately closed. There is a MINIMUM INCREASE AMOUNT on each bid sheet. Each increase in bid must equal or exceed the minimum increase figure. An announcement is made at closing time; all bidding must cease immediately. The highest closing bid, which meets the minimum increase rule, constitutes the winning bid. The successful bidder will be noted on the bottom bid sheet, and the Cashier will collect the top copy of the bid sheets. How to obtain your purchase:

1. Payment must be made by either agreeing to “Express Pay” at the time of check in or at the Cashier’s table.

2. Items may be paid for by Express Pay, presenting an alternate credit card, check or cash. If you purchased tickets and selected “Express Pay” or agreed to “Express Pay” at the time of Check In, your purchases will automatically be charged to the credit card provided for Express Pay. If you wish to use an alternate payment method, you must let the Cashier know immediately.

3. If you are using Express Pay, you may pick up the item at the auction table when the auction closes and the Cashier has noted the winning Bidder Number. Otherwise, please pay the Cashier before picking up your items. For items sold that are not on display (i.e. services), the original signed contract or a gift certificate is given to the winning bidder by the Cashier upon receipt of payment.

All payments must be made and items must be taken home on the night of the auction, unless arrangements are made with the Auction Committee.

Special Tax Notice In purchasing items at our auction, please note that the amount deductible as a charitable contribution for income tax purposes is limited to the excess of your total payment over the fair market value of the good or services you are purchasing. For the buyer’s convenience, the fair market value of each item auction is stated within this program.
