colors and how to mix them, but also about materials and textures;

• The creativity groups are formed from maximum 10 kids;

• Some of the materials used in the workshop, but also the creativity tutorial books, can be found in the shop located at the same address;

• Further on, please find a short description of the courses and examples of the objects that the kids will have as creativity models.

KINDER ROOM

Magical world of fruits, vegetables, seeds and pips

The kids learn about colors, flavors, vitamins & material particularity from the special characters that they create from apples, oranges, pears, carrots (The Orange Knight & the Pear Princess, Mister Carrot, Lady Broccoli, Apricot Fairy, etc.) but also from pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, peanuts, etc.

The workshop purpose is to catch their interest for fruits & vegetables, with stories told in their “language” and characters seen through their own eyes, in a creative and inventive way.

JUNE – JULY WORKSHOP

Dreamlike world of

colors and shapes

The kids learn how to round into form animals, birds, insects & plants from FIMO and modeling clay, which are painted and decorated afterwards. They will also create small paintings from the same materials.

The workshop purpose is to teach your children how to shape into forms and to combine the colors in a harmonic way.

JULY - AUGUST WORKSHOP

ECOTEXTURES, CUT OUTS & COLLAGE:

paper, cardboard, ceramics & wood

The kids learn about:

• mug painting, jar painting, pot painting, (objects that parents do not use anymore, but which can be turned in small, but great, art pieces)

• wooden objects painting (spoons, crayons, etc.)

• cardboard painting, (frames, boxes, book covers, notebooks)

• origami-animals, plants, objects, colored paper windmills

• colored napkins collage on different objects

The workshop purpose: kids find out new things about materials and how we can use different textures in a creative way. The importance of recycling and how we can re-use the materials we do not use anymore.

AUGUST – SEPTEMBER

WORKSHOP

Real animal world

The kids learn how to create characters made out of chestnuts, acorns, bottle gourd, nuts, peanuts, sweet corn cover, etc. Also greeting-cards and objects created from flat-dried plants.

The workshop purpose is to teach the kids that nothing should be lost or thrown, everything can be transformed in magical animals and dreamlike vehicles (rhinos, giraffes, wild horses, zebras, panda bears, boats and ships). It’s more interesting to create your own toys than buying them.

SEPTEMBER - OCTOBERWORKSHOP

Funny-autumn fest

The kids learn how to create:

• pumpkin painting and sculpturing

• masks and costumes

• Halloween decorations made out of paper, cardboard, felt, textiles, etc.

The workshop purpose: the kids learn how to create their own special events decorations and costumes.

OCTOBER - NOVEMBERWORKSHOP

Christmas preparation

The kids learn how to create:

• Christmas tree ornaments invented and painted by them (painted globes, sea-shell and pine-cone angels... here we can let you think of other ornaments that your kids can create), but also fairies & elves which we can “spice-up” with cinnamon, pimento, aniseed and fir.

• garlands and coronets

• preparing the family presents

• Christmas cards

The workshop purpose: the kids learn that nothing is more important than giving a little bit of flavor and color to the family holidays.

Workshop session: lasts 90 minutes with a 10 minute break

Courses are held:

Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9.30-11.00/ 11.30-13.00/ 16.00-17.30/ 18.00-19.30,

Saturdays and Sundays between 9.30-11.00/ 11.30-13.00

Courses costs: 8 sessions x 50 lei( per session) = 400 lei (materials are included).

The amount is paid, half at signing up and the other half at session no.5.

During the summer, for a fully paid course you have 8 sessions + 1 free session for the next course.

If your kid brings a friend, which will join the monthly 8 sessions course, you get a 10% discount.

The more friends your kid brings, the better!

Happy Craft Hour - in case you do not want your kid to have the normal 8 sessions course, you can also send him to private sessions. Scheduling each private session must be with done at least 1 day before, taking into consideration

the availability of the coordinators, by e-mail at [email protected]

The session cost is of 70 Ron/ 90 minutes.
