Spectra Collection

Spectra is a stunning collection of contemporary frameless shower enclosures and shower screensincluding curved and straight glass screens, hinged panels, spacious walk ins, and hinged and slidingdoor enclosures, available in a wide range of sizes and configurations, plus bespoke options. In-houseglass etching is available and ClearShield easy clean glass system.

The Spectra frameless glass range also utilises the latest advances in waterproof bonding. The uniquesystem was developed by Aqata’s design team to facilitate Spectra’s easy installation, as large panelscan be easily transported and assembled on site. Spectra has built in wall adjustment for out of truewalls, and is created from the finest materials using 8mm thick glass with polished edges toughenedto EN12150-1. Quality fittings are used throughout the range with solid corner brackets, hinges andsubstantial handles in beautiful polished chrome.

The Spectra sliding door range incorporates stylish chrome and polished stainless steel accents. The2000mm high shower enclosures have a smooth gliding door action, with central clear seals, anddiscreet positive magnetic closing. This exceptional range is designed to cope with the rigours of dailyshowering and is ideal for power showers & body jets.

Spectra is suitable for use in wet room applications or with Aqata’s wide range of fitter friendly shower trays.

The versatile Aqata shower trays have a superb finish and perfectly complement the sleek lines of theSpectra shower enclosures. The low level shower trays have an optional adjustable leg and panel packwhich allows flexibility with a choice of installation, low level, fitted flush to the tile or raised above thefloor. Each shower tray comes complete with a quality chrome finish hi-flow waste with removabletrap for easy cleaning.

The Spectra SP300 Sliding Door Recess Option creates the perfect recess enclosure for anyhome with pristine clear glass adding to the feeling of light and space. The generous 2000mmhigh single sliding door glides smoothly and effortlessly, and closes securely onto discreetmagnetic door seals. The clear central seals keep shower spray at bay whilst maintaining theframeless aesthetic. Available in both left or right hand sliding door options in three standardsizes. The Spectra range is ideal for wet room installation, directly onto a wet room floor, orpartnered with one of our superb and versatile shower trays (see page 181) combining abeautiful finish with practical fast flow waste and striking contemporary design. Complementingthe Spectra SP300 sliding door is the Linneal LNW500 thermostatic shower.

To assist installation on our fully framed Exclusive Solutions rangethe adjustable profile is machined to allow the side screen to sit onto thewall by 15mm and sit flush on the inside. ClearShield is available on all Aqata enclosures, doors and screens. This unique product

is applied to the inside of the glass and works just like ‘non-stick’ cookware, acting as a

protective barrier on the surface of the glass.

ClearShield protection for glass provides a surface that:

Resists staining from hard water deposits

Saves time and effort and is easier to clean

Keeps your shower looking like new for longer

Creates a more hygienic environment

Does not support the growth of bacteria

Unprotected glass can quickly and easily suffer permanent bonding of limescale /

mineral salts onto its surface causing staining and physical damage. Water spots become

very difficult, if not impossible to remove despite regular cleaning. As a result, the

appearance and hygienic environment of the shower are spoiled.

The surface of ClearShield glass is chemically non-reactive and ‘non-stick’. Limescale

and other dirt will build up only half as fast, and will not bond to the glass. Cleaning is

now a very simple task.

Care programmeAqata’s Screens and Shower Enclosures are designed

for a lifetime of luxury showering and with a little care

and attention you can keep your enclosure looking

like new. Aqata strongly recommend that the glass

and the framework are wiped down after every use

with a squeegee and dried with a soft cloth.

Shower traysClean after every use with warm soapy water or mild detergent and wipe dry with a soft

cloth, never use gritty or abrasive cleaner. Limescale or fine scratches can be removed by the

light use of T-Cut Original applied with a damp cloth and then polished off. Easy access waste

trap should be removed and cleaned weekly, ensuring any debris is cleared.

Top tips• Always remove any water remaining on the glass, frame and fittings

• Do not allow limescale to build up on the enclosure

• Polish the glass and framework with Aqata Cleaner once a week

• Do not leave neat cleaning products on the surfaces

• Do not use any “spray on and leave” cleaning products

• Ensure any non Aqata cleansers are non-abrasive and between pH 4 & 8

• Do not use any cleaning products outside the recommended pH values

• To remove limescale a solution of 50:50 white vinegar and water can be used

• Ensure vinegar solution is rinsed thoroughly and polished off with a dry cloth

Glass cleanerAqata Glass Cleaner has been specially designed for use on the glass, framework

and shower trays and should be used at least once a week for maximum effect.

Aqata Glass Cleaner has the added value of being environmentally friendly. This

product should only be used on standard glass and not on ClearShield glass.

Standard Shower Trays Aqata’s new generation of versatile standard low level shower trays

complement the extensive range of enclosures. The 35mm low level shower

trays have an optional removable panel and adjustable legs which allows

flexibility with a choice of installation, low level, flush or raised above the floor.

Using the most up-to-date technology and a unique construction to produce

a superb quality shower tray that is both rigid and durable, with a beautiful finish

and striking contemporary design. Smooth to the touch and easy to clean.

Available in a range of sizes, both equi-sided and offset. The offset quadrant has

left or right hand options.

NB If used in conjunction with a steam generator, the steam outlet must be positioned a

minimum of 300mm above the shower tray.

Returns PolicyBecause of the bespoke nature of Aqata products a re-stocking charge plus carriagecharge will apply on all returned items. We will not re-stock any specials, etched orClearShield glass orders, or products over 3 months old. Damaged goods will not becredited.

UsageWatertightness is a key consideration when choosing your shower enclosure. If you requirecomplete water retention especially when using power showers and body jets choose fromour framed enclosures or the Spectra Sliding Door Collection. Install your enclosure in a wellventilated area as steam and condensing vapour can result in mineral deposits/build up. Pleasenote that with shower screens and walk in enclosures water spray may extend beyond thelength of the glass panel, dependent upon the power of the shower and its position. Pleaseensure a suitable waterproof and sealed floor finish is used outside the showering area.

Some Exclusive Solutions and Spectra products have pre-assembled frames. Please considerthe site access available and dimensions when ordering sliding door enclosures or large panelsof glass. Please check the technical information in the price list when ordering products.
