– BOA Debit Plans/Current Status• Debit EMV issuance in October 2014• Natural reissuance + lost/stolen accounts, no mass reissue to meet liability shift• Less than 1% of transactions are EMV, 99% of those are signature

– Merchant Adoption• 60% not ready by liability shift• Only over half of merchants ready by end of 2016

– Delay in US Common AID– Costs in infrastructure to support debit EMV– Contactless not currently available that is Durbin compliant– Challenges in not having contactless debit EMV available.
