1. President:-To preside in the General body and executive meetings. To control and supervise the

construction, setting up of the laboratories, to make the necessary purchases and to appoint staff.

This position is the topmost management role. At present Mr. Siddique B M is occupying this

position.

2. Senior Vice President: -This position is next to the President and Mr. Syed Mohamed P.T is the

present Senior Vice President. He looks after the duties of the President when the President is

away on long tours in or outside the country.

3. Vice President:- Vice President looks after the duties of the President when the President and

Senior Vice President are away on long tours in or outside the country. At present

Mr. Abdul Rasheed K P is the Vice President.

4. General Secretary: - General Secretary attends his office in the campus daily. He makes day to

day decisions on the running of the institution. He is a member of the interview board for selecting

staff. At present Mr. Mohammed Rafeek P C .is the General Secretary.

5. Secretary: - Secretary looks after the duties of the Joint Secretary in his absence.

6. Joint secretary: - Joint secretary assists the General Secretary and Secretary in carrying out

their duties. Also when the General Secretary and Secretary are on tours for prolonged periods

the joint secretary looks after the day to day affairs. At present the Joint Secretary is

Mr. Nabiyal C.M .

7. Treasurer: - The treasurer looks after the financial matters, preparation of the budget and does

the auditing and control of income and expenditure. At present Mr. Jini C A is the treasurer.

8. Other members of executive committee: - There are 15 members totally in the executive

committee. These members help in special occasions in event management, crisis management

and up keep of discipline in the college. The other members are as follows :-

All the members of the executive committee have decades of job experience in Doha Qatar. They

took initiative to establish the Middle East Educational Society, which started the MES Public school

Doha, Qatar. This school is a flourishing and prestigious institution. Keeping up this tradition to nurture

values and educate people, they established the IDEAL EDUCATIONAL SOCIETY in Thrissur which

paved the way for IES Public School which is a leader in its class in this area. With the enthusiasm and

determination to do better things in the higher education sector, they started the IES College of

Engineering which has a dignified position at present. Further the expansion programs for the Engg

College have been taken up by IES Management.

Principal: - The Principal looks after the day to day academic activities and long term academic planning

of the Engineering College. She is also the liaison officer of the institution with AICTE, the State

Government and the University. She is in-charge of maintaining the discipline and academic excellence

of the students. At present Dr. S Brilly Sangeetha is holding the post of Principal. She has 15 years of

experience in teaching and 4 years in research. She has published more than 25 research papers in

reputed international, national journals and conferences.
