O elemento masculino aparece pela primeira vez como figura principal, muitas vezes ele existia na obra mas como suporte à história interpretada pela mulher, agora aparece-nos num contexto de uma geração exaltada, rebelde mas igualmente frágil. Nós somos Frágeis, lembra-nos a artista.

The male element appears for the first time as the principal figure, often it existed in the work but as support history interpreted by the woman, now appears in a context of a generation exalted, rebellious but also fragile. We are fragile, reminds us of the artist.

Ana Cristina Dias nasceu em Lisboa no ano 1967, estudou na escola sec. António Arroio – curso de Imagem e Comunicação Audio Visual, Ingressou na Faculdade Belas Artes de lisboa e termina o curso de pintura em 1995. Participou em várias exposições coletivas e realizou muitas individuais. Teve como principal actividade a publicidade , produção de eventos, fez uma pausa na pintura durante 5 anos, regressou dedicando-se a tempo inteiro em 2010. Nestes dois últimos anos expos as suas obras na Galeria de Arte Galveias / São Francisco ; Allarts Gallery; Casino de Estoril; Feira de Arte Contemporânea – Lisboa 2011; Galeria de Arte LM, São Pedro de Sintra.

Ana Cristina Dias was born in Lisbon in the year 1967, she studied at the school sec. António Arroio - course of Image and Communication Audio Visual, she entered the Faculdade Belas Artes lisbon and finishes the course in 1995. She was a regular exhibitor since 1994 in collective shows, and between 2000 and 2005 she presented some individual exhibits in various galleries and places of artistic promotion throughout the country. Between 2005 and 2010 she stopped for a period of reflection and artistic development, dedicating herself to photography and illustration., she returned full-time in 2010.
