Our Company

• At Montrose Molders, we offer our customers several manufacturing services1. Injection Molding

1. We have a fleet of 51 injection molding machines, ranging in size for 50 tons of clamp force to 1,000 tons of clamp force. This gives us the capability to mold applications small and large. Additionally, our highly trained plastics processors enable us to mold both commodity resins (PS, PP, PE) and more complex engineering resins (PC, PC/ABS, Nylon)

2. Tooling Design and Production1. We build about 1/4 of the tools we run in our fully serviceable tool room. We are highly capable of the

engineering necessary to design tools and our highly skilled tool makers are capable of building complex tools, maintaining tools, and repairing troubled tools transferred from other molders.

3. Assembly1. Many of our customers require part assembly and decoration prior to pack out. We proudly offer

20,000 ft2 of assembly space capable of running up to 5 assembly lines.

Our History

Page 5: An Introduction to Montrose Molders

Our History• Our company has grown from humble beginnings into an American success story. Montrose

Molders was founded in 1966 by Bill B Wilson as a small tool shop building tight tolerance tools for various industries.

• Eventually, due to the sampling requirements of our customers, we purchased our first injection molding machine in 1972 and our molding fleet was born.

• In 1997, we had finally outgrown our facility and moved into a much larger, 75,000 ft2 building in South Plainfield, NJ. Along with our building, our injection molding fleet and customer base expanded as well, bringing us to 33 machines and annual sales of $20,000,000.

• In 2012, after acquiring the assets of one of our competitors, we renovated their former building and moved all of our machines across town to Piscataway, NJ. We now operate out of three facilities in Piscataway and Plainfield totaling 180,000 ft2 and offer our customers an injection molding fleet of 51 machines.

we offer it in one place.

• Quality Product• Our quality policy is tailored specifically to handle a broad range of customer requirements. Tolerances, specs,

preferences, and requests can be communicated directly with out quality department, so that we can frequently sample and measure your product against those standards as it is produced. This ensures that you receive a quality product that matches, if not exceeds, your expectations.

Why Our Customers Choose Montrose

• Tooling Services• As previously mentioned, Montrose Molders has been making high quality injection molds for decades. This

knowledge and expertise allow us to provide a wide range of tooling services to our customers. Injection Molders with fully serviceable in-house tool shops are a rarity as many tooling shops were divested by the molder that ran them during difficult times. We knew the value of our tool shop to our customers, so it remains as essential part of our business model.

• Broad Fleet• It is common for injection molders to cater to larger or smaller applications. However, we know that many of

our customers require both large and small parts. To provide these options, we have machines with 50 tons of clamp force (capable of molding smaller parts) and as large as 1,000 tons of clamp force (capable of molding 9-11 pound parts).
