Congratulations!

Why? —We already passed 1/3 of our term. You even

didn't think about this, yep?

Now we are in the epicenter of AIESEC life. You just

finished recruitment, PBoX's preparation is going not in

the way as you have expected, OGX is not such

effective as you want, OCPs and VPs are making mistakes, you don't have time for newbies

education and involvement.

I think, some of you thinking right now: "And where I need to find "Enjoying participation" here?!".

Answer is simple - right in these challenges.

And I want to paste here 1 quote from my correspondence with CHAIR of New Horizons'11 (it's a

secret so far who will it be:)).

It was 2 years ago and I'm pasting his thoughts:

you cannot enjoy AIESEC in the end. You will not! EB term is not so, as you think. In the end you

will not like it. Maybe you will be frustrated from all that work, maybe you will be crying, that your

term is coming out.

BUT YOU WILL NOT ENJOY IT FOR SURE. YOU MUST ENJOY IT NOW!

Of course, results will be after. But mood will be strange. You will see. The best time to enjoy EB

time is in autumn, when newbies come and start to work. If everything is working by itself, you can

just look and enjoy. Other times are not so great as autumn…

So, wish for us — enjoy challenges that we have. It will never be again like this, so let's feel the

moments.

Explanation This year on 11.11.11 we as AIESEC wants to Showcase our impact to all world through this Initiative. Many people and organization will see our stories! Instructions are: record video on 11.11.11; tell other people to record video; show what is more important for

you, share your culture, what it means to be you;

no talking heads, show actions, environment and other people;

you dont need to make movie, just recorded video;

its great to have stories from Interns and from our Members and Leaders, so we can show our values, esp activating leadership;

any language, any timing.

UN in partnership with AIESEC will run great initiative. Last year on 10.10.10 they collected videos from all over the world, made by any person about his day to create positive social change through collaboration and understanding. Check your country. On 16 of November the fifth annual forum ‘Youth and Business’ will be held in Lviv.

Forum has new innovative interesting format, business cases, much more communication with national companies! Event is also opened for the external students from all over Ukraine!

General partner is Metinvest. Development partners are Ernst & Young, Procter & Gamble, InBev, FastFoodSystems.

‘Innovations in business’ and ‘Corporate social responsibility’ are the main topics. All participants will get to know about companies’ practices and experience in these areas!

InBev Ambassadors – our 5 ambassadors visited Moskow for the meeting of ambassadors: Dima Didushenko, Olga Ditmarova, Tima Aleksandronets, Katya Troino, Tanya Pershina – good luck with your work and have great experience! “It was really interesting and useful trip. We had interactive sessions from Angie (Mosaic CEE Ambassadorship manager) and Marina (AB InBev Recruitment Manager). Now we can clearly see how to reach our ambitious goals. Now I know much more about AB InBev company as well as about ambassadorship program. Our role as ambassadors is to recruit young talents for Global Management Trainership Program. Ambassadorship is kind of efficient and innovative product. It’s cool to work as ambassador! Firstly, you receive valuable experience of working with global company; secondly, monthly salary plus additional bonuses for achieving goals. Now I’m really excited to start recruitment activities. I am sure that it will be interesting! Also we had a lot of time to discover beatifull Moscow. It is outstanding city! Amazing architecture, interesting intelligent people and high prices:) We were living in famous Radisson hotel that is located not far away from the city centre. All these things made our trip interesting, useful and comfortable. I enjoyed it very much!”

• On 6th Oct. Kyiv has realized business conference “International Business opportunities” (good job, Iegor Liapkalo, LC VP CICX!)

• Alisa Tykhonova has presented exchange program for companies on IT-directors meeting in Yalta on 7th Oct. and run separate presentation for members of Business Travel Association of Ukraine on 11th Oct.

The first month of Q4 passed. Sounds sadly, but now I will let you know what was done in

“mysterious” LCD area during the October! =) 1) Internal CEEDs. Uzhgorod and Mykoyaiv had short-term TM CEED for Recruitment. 2) 2 LCs had additional LC visits – Lugansk and Odessa! 3) At 30th of September at 23:59:59 all LCs had submitted SONA and as outcome from

it Growth Reports were realized! 4) Sumy and Khmelnitsky finished their recruitments and brought their delegations to

Local Induction Conferences in Kharkiv (Sumy) and Lviv (Khmelnitsky). 5) Finally…finally… AIESEC in Ukraine have Expansion Manager – Yuliya Sorokina

(VP TM 10/11 in LC Simferopol). One more time our congratulations to her! Important information for the next month – LC coaches are coming! =) In November we

are starting the season of LC Visits! You would be able to meet physically one of the MC members! Don’t miss this opportunity!

“One AIESEC, one Ukraine” During “AutCo” there was a presentation of a plan about how to build one Ukrainian organization instead of

being separated, not-connected small organizations. For realization of this idea action steps plan was created as well as timeline. The first step is MC Re-registration. I would like to inform you that registration is on the last stage – getting last documents from Tax Service. Unfortunately, we have temporary problems on this stage, but all the team, as well as MC VP Finance, is doing all their best to overcome them. After this process is finished, we will be able to launch the next step – creation of new LCs in your cities. All the information about this step is going to be sent to each LCP to make it as much clear and simple, as it’s possible. To make sure that all our steps are legal, all activity in these initiatives is under consultancy of lawyers. “One AIESEC, one Ukraine” is #1 initiative in Finance area at the moment, as its realizations created huge benefits for AIESEC and opens new ways and opportunities for work.

X Legality X Legality is one of the harmful problems for AIESEC in Ukraine today. That’s why this is initiative #2 in

Finance nationally. I want to gladly inform you that law specialists from different spheres of law were hired to help us in this problem solving. Constant work is being done with lawyers right now, and the biggest stay tuned. As for me, if we finish this process successfully, I’m going to have a celebration of it in MC-flat! So let’s hope that we will succeed!

Don’t forget the auditor! National Internal Auditor visits has started! Dnipropetrovsk was the first LC which was visited! Are all other

LCs ready? Let’s check it! By the way, for the first time in finance history of AIESEC in Ukraine LC, who will be chosen as the best one

after Internal Audit, will be recognized by award from MC! So prepare yourself and your LC to be the best for National Internal Auditor Visit!

One more month is behind. What did ICX people manage to do in October 2011? LCs started to grow up new generation of ICX people, only few LCs showed newbies international environment in their LCs, but all LCs are preparing for hot winter, new wave of projects, lots of interns and activities for them in December-February. This month we raised new forms and about to start crazy matching time. International cooperation managers had first tasks, meetings and ideas to implement, in MC we have WWB and Green Rush as main focuses in preparation right now.

AIESEC in Ukraine organized first ever preparation conference for

interns — INTERNational Trainers Camp! During 3 days 17 interns of act.in.UA project went through

extremely tough education, found out more about Ukrainian society, discovered essence of their project, improved their trainers skills, got to know AIESEC culture, challenged themselves in different activities and tasks and created first drafts of their presentations.

Thank you, everybody, who made this conference possible! And Special recognition for Svitlana Kogut – person, who prepared, organized and put of her passion and love into this conference! Thank you, dear!

Do you know that October 2011 is history-creating month for AIESEC in Ukraine? This month gave a birth to new project of AIESEC in Ukraine – Act.in.UA! Kyiv, Odessa,

Lviv, Donetsk, Simferopol and Berdyansk OFFICIALLY OPENED ACT.in.UA project!!! Congratulations, guys!We wish this project to be successful, bring amazing experience to organizational committees, interns and participants!

First OGX Projects Ever In the History of Ukrainian OGX! Congratulations to all of us, we make first steps in realizations of projects – with final goals, clear responsible

people, concrete timelines. Idea of projects is recruiting people according to JD on internships and countries of preferences.

Has cool pictures of Alla Berdnikova on our posters and True Smiles just catch your look with sincere and touching smiles of kids! Bright Young Trainer OCPs of Bright Young Trainers + True Smiles are working in Donetsk, Ternopil, Odes-sa, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv. Just make sure if you use all the potential of the teams – this is the platform for lots of promotional events, quality preparation and development of your members!

And remember – since 21st of November we have next wave of Bright Young Trainer only!

On 21st of November we also start recruitment of IT-specialists for the project International developmenT. Now it’s really up to us if we will have our IT people going on AIESEC internship!

Recruitment has finished! The 1st data on COUNTRY RESULTS is 87,5%! Good job, TMs!

Now we are gathering information from our expansions and calculating the results… Wait for the Recruitment report!

On October,29-30 we had a famous TM meeting! The main goals were: Recruitment evaluation, TM in TMP/TLP and main TM focuses for November-

December’11. During the meeting we made Recruitment evaluation and SWOT, talked over the TM actions in new LC project

structure. Now the VPs are prepared and motivated to lead the newly recruited people towards the stars! Main focuses for Talent Management for all the Local Committees are:

• Education • Middle Management • Member Pipeline

TEAM WAVEMAKERS

October was rather productive for COMMs! 6-th of October was a strategic meeting with almost all VPs where we discussed recruitment,

OGX projects, Act.in.UA. Then the most active part was rewarded with participation In European PR Congress.

Also we drive several important initiatives: Recruitment was finished! Together with new expansions there are 2119 AFs out 2196 (together with new expansions plans) that is 96 % of realization! Well done!

Also now the promo of the first OGX projects is going: True Smiles, Bright Young Trainer. For 31-th October we have 792 AFs from 850 planned but half of them are from Kyiv. Other LCs, let’s work hardly the last week of promo!

Promo of Act.in.UA almost finished, we have more than 400 AFs but in some cities promo is prolonged.
